You need to call NVC and find out when they received your documents. The date they acknowledge receipt is your scan date.

Her response makes NO sense. She thinks they will be less likely to misplace a paper file than an electronic one...? #######?? Remember, even though it doesn't seem like it, YOU are the one in charge

As I said earlier, supervisor review is a polite way of saying "yes, we know that you already hit the 6 weeks mark, we know, now go away."

Ok i tried to contact congressman but unfortunately his term in congress are coming to an end so i did not get a positive response. What about contacting senators? Anyone who can give his valuable input. I'll really appreciate your help guys. TIA

Document cover sheet (received with NVC welcome letter) does not mention 2 passport size photos of beneficiary whereas VJ NVC process guide lists photos to be sent in IV packet.

Is it no longer needed to send PP photos?

11/30/2016 : Approved!

12/07/2016 : NVC Received

12/12/2016 : Case Number & IIN received (confirmed through phone)

12/13/2016 : AOS fee invoiced & Paid

12/16/2016 : IV fee invoiced & Paid

12/20/2016 : Submitted DS-260

12/23/2016 : Delivered to NVC

04/28/2017 : Interview (Approved 🙂)

My senator's office was always much more helpful and responsive than the congressmen. Of course, that doesn't mean it will be the same where you live! It's worth a try, though. Check out their website and see if they offer assistance with immigration matters.

Interview: 21-February-2017   We scheduled our own interview because we had an approved medical expedite with the consulate. By sheer luck we got such a quick interview date because someone cancelled their appointment less than 20 minutes prior
Interview Result: Approved!!
Visa Issued: 21-February-2017     Visa issued same day as interview
DHL tracking information received: 22-February-2017     DHL tracking number appeared 28 hours after interview, scheduled for delivery the next day
Visa in hand: 23-Feb-2017
US POE (Minneapolis): 26-Feb-2017

I'm so tired of this process. I just want to be with my husband. Case complete would be the best gift ever - besides being with my husband.

Hi everyone! I just sent the package to the NVC on Nov.23rd... how will I find out my scan date? will they notify me of anything? Do I have to call in regularly? I live abroad so im crossing my fingers for mail/email notifications :) thanks guys!

You have to call in to NVC.

6 weeks is up on Wednesday (tomorrow!), will call them then to follow up, but it sounds like a lot of scan dates in early November are being completed! Mine is Nov 9th so i'm hopeful it will be soon.

Also - how do you get your timeline to show up in your signature?
