I also received this false checklist and you won't believe my scan date is 21 Sep got that mail on 24 oct went to sup review on 3rd Nov and still waiting for CC ??? its almost 3 months now and we are paying for there system error it feels terrible ??

You absolutely have to call your congressman's office, to get their help. That is too long!! I've seen that people with those wait times, are calling their senators etc. Just go to their website, and they usually have a generic form to fill for them to contact the agencies on your behalf/ good luck!

I am just afraid of doing that, if it hurts the timeline or my case ☹️️ I am thinking to wait for a CC till next week, as supervisor told us she is very sorry for the delay and marking our case for 'priority review', have never heard this before. Once we get CC we will be requesting them for an expedite as their mistake cost us so much time. I will pray no one ever has to go through what we are experiencing it's very though to be away from ur loved ones and they just don't understand this ?

Hello Everyone,

I sent an email to NVC asking for the process of requesting expedite on my case. They requested that I submit previously requested documentation. I have no clue what they are referring to. Is this a generic email or are they indeed requesting for more information.

My scan date is November 22nd. This was the response below:

The NVC has received your request for expedited processing. However, the situation does not meet Department of State guidelines (life or death medical emergency) and will not be expedited. Please send the previously requested documentation to continue processing the case.

We received mail for this case. We are experiencing a high volume of incoming mail at this time. Please allow up to 6 weeks from the date we received your mail for NVC to review your documents. We are diligently working to reduce our review time and appreciate your patience. NVC will notify you after our review if there is additional information required or if we are able to schedule your case for an interview.

Everytime I call NVC and talk to a representative they always ask me did I complete my DS-260. I did complete it but got a checklist saying it was not complete, But I completed the DS-260 on the 24th of October. When I log into the CEAC site it says it is complete. Could this be the reason that my case is being held up because of a computer error on their end?

Same with me. every time I call they ask me if I have completed my DS-260

Just called and CASE COMPLETE ....

I say to you just hang in there. Look at my timeline it took almost a year to get here 7 months at USCIS. I prayed that it did not take longer than 6 weeks.. Yesterday was my 6th week.. Merry Xmas indeed...

My only concern is they told me I don't make enough which is odd including my husband we will be a household of 3 .. I make over 50k.. How could I not make enough money.. When guildlines state family of 3 is $25,200 .. Anyway new promotion bumps me up as well I will just take proof with me...

Just got off from phone. I called twice, ist time representative said it was put on sup review on Nov 18, it should be done by next week. I requested if i can talk to supervisor but no one is available at the moment.

2nd time I requested again to talk to sup, he said let me figure out ist whats going on. Then he said its in review department, its in right hands and should be done by end of this week. Dont know if its true or he was just trying to get rid of me.

Well I called and of course this lady gives me a completely different explanation to my case. the last three people have told me that my scan date is Nov. 10th now this one says well its Nov. 14th and the last person said I was being reviewed this lady says my case isn't completed smh.. Its Monday and im sure these people are all looking forward to the three day weekend. But oh well ill try again on tomorrow because I will be calling daily from this point

So i called again and rep said its not in review department, they have not pulled your file yet. Everytime i call i get different response. This is ridiculous!!
