Called repeatedly today, finally got through after trying for days. Waited on hold for 25 minutes. Rep on the other end said she was going to put us into supervisor review. I honestly don't expect to see any change until after the holidays at this point.

This is the second time my husband has applied for residency for me, the first time was a K1 in 2010 that we cancelled. Both that time and this time, I seem to get caught during times when the wait times are extra long. So sick of this sh...tuff.

My only concern is they told me I don't make enough which is odd including my husband we will be a household of 3 .. I make over 50k.. How could I not make enough money.. When guildlines state family of 3 is $25,200 .. Anyway new promotion bumps me up as well I will just take proof with me...

Everytime I call NVC and talk to a representative they always ask me did I complete my DS-260. I did complete it but got a checklist saying it was not complete, But I completed the DS-260 on the 24th of October. When I log into the CEAC site it says it is complete. Could this be the reason that my case is being held up because of a computer error on their end?

Same here, everytime i call they ask when did u submit ds 260. Do u think that could be the reason for delay because its been 10 weeks and i have not heard anything from them, not even checklist. My iv application says complete. I dont know whats going on, this is ridiculous.

Exactly I think that's exactly what it is. There should be no reason why people with scan dates after you getting a case complete especially if its a false checklist. I am on the phone with them now I am pretty sure that's what it is. They can't be backlogged if people are getting case completes and they submitted their application after you. Also had their not been this kind of error you would have a case complete. It's either that or a conspiracy. :sleepy:

We were supposed to get case complete by now, and had a false checklist for the 260. I also get asked if I completed it when I call. I'm on hold at the moment, waiting to ask this same question.

That's probably why they will be doing maintenance to the CEAC site on the 18th of this month to fix the issue and telling us that our case should be complete after Christmas. I am certain they are not back logged it doesn't take this long to review 7 or 8 pages for crying out loud it's just me and my wife....ridiculous. It's an error on their part not ours.

I just called, and talked to an enthusiastic young man. I quote "I love my job". He asked me for my DS-260 confirmation number, and assured me that they had it. Also they will only close on Monday Dec 26th, since Christmas falls on the weekend this year. That should be the only hold up, unless of course they are unable to focus.. :/

My case went up for supervisor review on Dec 14 one day after my 6 weeks (Nov 1st scan date). He says that it is now in the review room, and that "it is where it needs to be".

I need a case closed, and close this chapter of my life, a fresh start this coming year would be nice. Let's hope this doesn't drag us too far, and we can still have an early February interview.
