Good morning everyone!

I decided to call NVC this morning and my call went in immediately no hold time.

Maybe best time to call is early AM.

The first guy I spoke with put me on hold to check my status. When he came back he said it is currently "under review". So I decided to call back and ask again because it felt like he said that to get me off the phone. The 2nd lady I spoke with also reviewed everything for me and said it is currently moving along and is "under review" I hope this is good sign and it is truly moving along. I tried to get more info out of her but she said they had gotten a large amount of mail and that is why they were behind.

Scan date Oct 17th

Sup Rev Dec 2nd

Currently "Under review" << which could mean anything :clock:

Official 2nd scan date December 13th from our RFE, the NVC rep told me to allow up to 6 weeks for review. Everyone was right about the "allow 30 days" .. it is not true.

I will be following and update if we get any emails sooner!!

See you all in the January filers thread.

Merry Christmas, and happy new year to all and hope to see CCs soon to those who are waiting!

I heard that they were raising the fees in the month of December 2016. Anyone know what the new fees are? We are still waiting to here from the NVC and we will still need to pay the medical exam fees and the green card fees if approved. Is there any other fees I am forgetting?

Spoke with NVC last night. Got hold of the first kind person that I've spoken with yet. I could hear her counting the weeks for our case and she said that since next week is our 6th week that we should recieve an email notifying that the case is complete or a checklist for more information by next week as soon as the review is finished. I almost asked her if it was currently in review since she worded it that way, but I wasn't sure I wanted to know the answer... haha.

A small question regarding the interview stage guy. I received a case complete couple of days back and waiting on interview. While filing AOS my wife was the main sponser but unfortunately she had to leave the job she had due to some reason. Now if she doesnt find a new one until my interview. can that be a problem or something questionable. Please let me know about it.

Thanks.

I just logged on and saw my 3 N/As guys. On the phone with NVC to confirm. This is surreal, I was being noisy at work so I had to step outside for a bit. I can't believe it.
