Congratulations!!! I remember crying when I saw 3 N/As. It finally seems real, doesn't it?

It really does! But now is the time for action, which is the part I've been looking forward to least. Medical and interview. Because I live in Northern Ireland I'm having to fly over for the medical and the interview, and I do not like London haha. But because it's getting me to my husband, I'm definitely not complaining =). Hopefully there'll be some helpful threads regarding medical and interviews in London, I'm an anxious person as it is.

Yeah, so did we <_<. It's all written in the right order... I dunno... I've emailed our lawyer, see what he has to say...

Yeah, I'm glad London's pretty quick. I really don't wanna miss out on a January appointment, still hopeful!

=o that's awful! I'll let you know what my appointment is when I get it which may give you an idea.

Can you send a package with the original document cover sheet when you know about your RFE before getting the email?? Or do you have to wait to send it until you get your official RFE to send WITH the response package?

Can anyone answer this question??

I did just that. I sent updated I-864 for me and for the joint sponsor before I even get my original package reviewed. They scanned my AOS and added it to my original package. If you are sure about the reason for the REF and got a confirmation from NVC by phone or you know what they'll be asking for then you go ahead and send it to save couple of days. That's my opinion

I appreciate your speedy reply, I am currently comparing the document cover sheet for the original AOS/IV package with the RFE cover sheet, and in the address for the AOS/IV package, it says "ATTN: CMR AOS" but in the official RFE document cover sheet, it says "ATTN: DR" ... does DR mean document review? and I did not personally send the package, but I am not sure if my attorney has yet, and of course they're closed Saturday/Sunday...

On the RFE checklist document, it says please allow 30 days for review, so I am hoping my attorney didn't send it yet... :( that could be 30 days vs the original 6 weeks we've already waited.

Our attorney did not check the "Reciprocity by Country" for my husbands birth certificate.. which caused us to get a checklist. This is just so stressful.

This is on the RFE Checklist:

National Visa Center ATTN: DR

31 Rochester Avenue, Suite 100 Portsmouth, NH 03801-2914

This is the original address to send the completed IV/AOS packages.

National Visa Center ATTN: CMR AOS

31 Rochester Avenue, Suite 100 Portsmouth, NH 03801-2914

It is quite possible!! Your case was completed before the cut off date of 12/15, so keep an eye out for the next two weeks for your interview letter.

I had an NVC Rep tell me that the 15th of each month is the cut off date for scheduling for each month.

Sorry, I don't want to confuse you but maybe you should wait for the attorney and consult with him/her. I don't know why I've been hearing a lot lately about cases are being handled by attorneys and still getting REF.

I got cc on 11/30 they told me that I have to wait last week of the month to see if we have an interview schedule. And they do the scheduling between that week. I got the email saying our case is complete. How long does it take to get the interview letter and be scheduled for interview?

Thanks :). You're from Northern Ireland? They don't do interviews in Belfast then? I always wondered how annoying and costly it must be for people so far from London to have to visit the embassy. I'm lucky to be just outside of London.

My lawyer got back to me today, by the way, said he's seen the NVC make these mistakes before and they often just set up an interview and never admit fault or say anymore about it. So it could turn out to be as good as a case complete...

Well that's interesting.. Hopefully because it's their error you won't have to go through too much more. Is he getting in contact with nvc about their error or what happens now?

Yeah, unfortunately they don't do any immigrant visas in Belfast although they do work and student visas apparently. Very annoying seeing as I work literally a 2 minute walk from the embassy in Belfast. Would make it all much easier.

So it means I'll have to fly over for the medical and then again for the interview where I'll have to stay overnight the night before most likely. It's added cost and hassle no doubt but I guess it has to be done. Uber is pretty reliable in London right? I have no sense of direction when it comes to public transport haha.
