That must be a typo. You should call them immediate and have them corrected it. You may also want to write them a letter,

in addition to calling. Your priority date should be current according to the receive date.

tnx, I will

Hi All,

Just received a notice that all our documents are documentarily accepted!! :D

Our PD is Dec 2016, and visa bulletin priority date for final action is Jul2016. Does that mean we need to wait til this date to be current  (dec2016) before they schedule us an interview?

Hello guys! I wanted to share with you that I already completed my process and my visa has been approved. I'm beyond excited and want to thank you all for all the support through all this time.

I'll leave the info below:

Pd: 20/07/2016

I received the IL: 28/06/2018

Medical exams: 20/072018

Interview: 01/08/2018

Docs I brought to the interview:

* OG birth certificate

*OG marriage certificate

*OG Police clearance certificate

*printed IL

*2 photographs

*Taxes from 2015 to 2017

*signed copy of the I-864ez form

*copy of my husband residency and a few bills with his address as prove of legal status and domicile.

*vaccinations documentation worksheet plus receipts (OG and copy)

*printed DS260 confirmation email.

*Letter from his work.

As proof of relationship :

*Printed screenshots of platforms of communication: (Facebook, Messenger, Whatsapp, Instagram. Call records and messages).

*Letter and cards he gave me from the beginning of our relation upto now.

*emails with our joint information from Amazon etc.

*electronic receipts from gifts we send to each other.

*Money transfers receipts

*bording pass from our vacations and hotel receipts.

*receipts from our wedding day.

*pictures of us from the beginning of our relation (2012)

Docs they requested:

*OG birth certificate

*OG Marriage Certificate

*OG police clearance certificate

*2017 taxes

*passport

I brought all this information organized in a portfolio with tags to set apart Civil Documentation from economic support documents and proof of relationship.

The process was pretty quick my appointment was at 7:30am and I was out by 9 o'clock.

I hope all of this serves you to have a better idea about documentation and organization I know how stressful it can be I will suggest you to recollect all your docs a week prior to the interview so you have time to double check everything and dont be overwhelmed by all of it, that's what I did and it helped me a lot as far a mental peace haha.

So once again thank you so much for all your support and good vibes. It is a very rough way the one we walk being away from our loved ones for so long. But together we can get trough it. Good look to you'll from the bottom of my heart. God Bless you 💝

Congratulations! I'm also F2A in El Salvador,  PD July 5, 2016, I'm having the interview next Monday with my daughter (minor child in common with my wife which is the petitioner) I'm also going to bring a lot of civil documents and evidence, but I see that they only requested a couple of them! One question, can you pay for the green card right after the visa was approved or do I have to wait until I get the passports back? and also how long did it took for the embassy to send the passport back?

After you get the passport with Visa back, you will get a SEALED package as well as an instruction paper for paying green card fee $220.

Then you can pay the green card fee online before go to the US.

You should keep the IOE Receipt number after paying fee and use it to check when your green card is issued via this website https://egov.uscis.gov/casestatus/landing.do

If you pass the interview, within 2 weeks you will get the Visa. The processing time is vary among countries.

You should check your case status on https://ceac.state.gov/ceac/

When it change from READY -> AMINISTRATIVE PROCESSING -> ISSUED, it means your visa is issued.

So I will have to wait for the packages, thanks a lot!

So how long did you wait for the passport?

There is no movement this month, but what I understand from these sections that it will move from 3 to 5 weeks each month and no retrogression. am I right?

No.

The VB predicts that the PD may move 3 to 5 weeks; ergo the word "potential".  It did not say that it will move from 3 to 5 weeks.  It has the potential to move 3 to 5 weeks which is not a guarantee that it will move 3 to 5 weeks.

Retrogression was not mentioned.  Where did you read that there would be no retrogression?

Read carefully.

Read carefully.

It doesn't mention that clearly that there won't be retrogression, but mentioning in section F "The retrogression of the above mentioned family dates will only be temporary and in October, the first month of fiscal year 2019, the final action dates will be returned to (at least) those established for August."

So may be this gives hope for further movement

Retrogression is common at the end of the fiscal year.

While the September retrogression is only temporary and things will return to the August PD in the October VB at the start of the new fiscal year.

What you quoted does not say anything about retrogression after October.
