I received my NOA2 in August 2017

I am already applied from US

Do I have to receive WL and if so when should I expect that?

You said you were inside the US. Did you apply for Adjustment of Status or continued via Consular Processing? 

 

After approval, have you sent any documents or paid any fee?

May be you get your IL end of this month or start of next month. your interview will probably be in may...

April Bulletin will probably be for sometime in April 2016 so your PD should come current in May or June at the latest based on current trends. The wait time for an interview date in Montreal is around 2 weeks. Only a couple of months left for you! Congrats!

My PD 04/11/2016 (F2A-Unmarried child). Legally staying in US, already submitted I485 and biometric done in October 2017. I'm sorry that if i have asked this question before but i want to have a solid answer .

Should I receive IL soon since they are working on April applications? Or USCIS will take time to approve my I485?

 

Please let me know if you know the process because i'm nervous and checking mail everyday. THANK YOU!

Hi Guys,

 

just a fast heads up in regards to NVC processing times for F2A.  There are multiple threads for CR1 and K1 visas but non for F2A.

My documents where received and scanned by NVC mid February and today March 7 we got case completed and approved by NVC.

My wife and I are very happy, will have a glass of Champagne later on  

 

However, this shows that NVC does process F2A in the same speed as they would for CR1 and they are much faster than the 11 weeks they state on their website. Good luck everyone. Hope everyone will be with his partner soon!
