Today is the anniversary of my PD :(

We get it, it's an anniversary all of us would rather have it already with our GC.

My wife and I now reached the 1 year, 1 month and 1 week milestone, and still not even a response from the i-130. It's just absurd.

Update received on my case PD : May 2016,

NVC says, the applicant is waiting in queue for an appointment overseas. However, statements are contradictory,

On one hand they say "NVC schedules appointments one month in advance" and then they also say. "for numerically limited visa category the priority date must be current".

Why give hope when there is a stipulation for PD to be current?

They schedule interviews one month in advance means, the month before your PD becomes current you will get your date.. so with all things being equal you should have a date in March/April 2018 for the next month interview

Any idea when priority dates for filing I-485 under F2A might move? It has been stuck at Nov 1st, 2016 for a few months while Final Action dates have made progress.

Also, any more progress on I-130 approvals in CSC? It's pretty frustrating not seeing much progress on that either! My PD is mid November 2016.

Filing Date is relatively new (Oct 2015), and has only moved 5 times without a clear pattern. The last two times it moved when the Filing Date and the Final Action Date were getting closer (4 months apart in May 2017, and 6 Months apart in Oct '17) Hoewever, in October a new fiscal year began, and that might have to do with that movement.

My guess is that it moves depending on the time it is currently taking NVC to process cases (even when AOS is not handled by NVC, Filing Date also dictates when you can proceed to the NVC stage). I hope it moves in March, but watching last two movements, it could take up to June to move forward, but my optimistic side says it will move in March or April.

Last CSC update personally I heard about was from November 7th, 2016. It was approved this week. Trust me, I filed in December 2016, and still waiting.

I hope you can find the patience to overcome the distance.

yes, because it moved 7 months from the last date, NVC will have to clear that before moving their date, and from the pace their going, its one month at a time, I think some September, October and November 2016 filers haven't gotten their NOA2 yet and all these people will have to be looked at before the second bulletin will move..
