I hope too. The VB is slowly advancing my PD is January 2016 until the July VB I was hoping that my interview will be in December now I'm resigning myself to be in 2018

The bill would most properly even improve the situation for F2A visa. The bill proposed to stop other visa categories (Parents of USC, Siblings of USC etc.) but F2A would still remain active and would not be affected. They propose a quote that maybe even speeds up this process. So nothing to worry for F2A.

that bill wont go anywhere because it does not serve basic purpose of family reunion. lot of people bring their parents to take care of them here since they are the only children and dont have anybody in their country to take care of parents. some bills dont make sense !

May 2017 Visa Bulletin showed date for filing to be 08 Apr 2016

But could not file for AOS.

 

The AOS date is not moving at all for the last 3 months.

 

Any idea on when would I be able to file for AOS and EAD/AP have a trip planned to India in December else I will have to get H1B visa stamped before returning.

Did you received your  WL?

People up or before  08 April 2016 are having  access to pay fees.  

You should call NVC.

Yes we got the WL

Our Attorney said no to NVC since I am already in USA I will go for AOS.
