Hi Anna,

you are doing such a great job helping others here so I am very happy seeing your case moving forward.

USCIS California has suspended F2A visa processing and there is no sign of re-starting.

So, most people after  PD August 23 are now stuck. Nothing we can do, looks like it will take maybe around a year

to get NO2.... Anyhow still waiting and praying :)

Are you sure it suspended :(

this is bad news 😭

It has been suspended since several months. But the good news is, that the VB moves forward, so at one point, they must catch up again. I assume this will be still only in a couple of months from now as currently there is no sign of action.

I don't know what is happening in California and I can understand the frustration, but looking at the VB movement, I'm sure you guys will get the approvals soon and then the WL to follow shortly after - so the good feeling will be doubled! I wish all of you all the best! this forum has been such an uplifting source, just knowing others are going through the same. You are in our prayers..

Hi AnnaMBoros...congrats on your case!! And thank you so much for updating all of us here. It's a relief to know where they are at processing our cases. I just received a letter from NVC saying they ran out of visas and that my case is not ready for processing now. I got the case number & invoice ID but can not proceed further for the fees. I have all the documents ready to be sent in a file but without paying the fees, I'm stuck. My PD is June 8,2016 F2A India. Just hoping VB moves 2 or 3 months next month because over the past several years, they move several months (if you check June to Septmeber periods from year 2010) to catch up the pending applications. Don't know if it will happen this year under the new administration.

Hi. As much as Im happy to hear that you got your Case Number and Invoice ID, I am also very surprised, because Dates For Filing (Visa Bulletin) are cutting off at Priority date April 8th 2016. As per the interview, our PD is April 4th and we are expecting an interview around next January, so for you maybe March 2017, if the Final Action dates movement continues at the current rate.

Yeah hopefully they keep moving forward. Have you completed the

6 steps? How long did it take from receiving the welcome letter to you paying the AOS & IV fees?

Hi. I received WL in the e-mail.I logged in to the CEAC  system immediately and filled out the "Choice of Agent Form" and paid the AOS $120 fee right away. I was advised to call NVC right after that, so they can speed up the processing of the form and the AOS fee (normally it takes 3 weeks I heard, but if you call it will take them 1 week only). After they will process the form and AOS fee, I can proceed with paying  the IV fee ( I believe it's $325). Right now, i'm preparing the Visa Application form, just writing down the answers on the paper, so when I'm ready to start filing it online, I will just copy the answers from the paper (it can greatly reduce errors).
