Its not about whether you trust someone or not. Trust is subjective. I just made an observation based on past experience with people from the same country.

Furthermore, all postings on Facebook are nothing but anecdotal evidence. It's everybody's right to assign credibility or to reject it as such. You can only truly "trust" the official VB.

That said, the more people get their ILs, the more the confidence grows. As of now, NVC hasn't started the distribution of ILs. Its possible to get your appointment before your official IL if you call them. Or you can choose not to waste an hour and a half on the phone, and just wait for your IL instead. Up to you really.

Yeah you’re right but hoping that we will hear good news soon because no movement for all categories till now

what’s your priory date ?

It's June 2017. Naturally I'm interested in the 2016 filers as well, specially as the VB edges closer to 2017.

BTW, for people that are not aware - today is President George Bush's day of mourning. All the embassies are closed, as well as passport centers and field offices. USCIS is closed too.

I must add that for the past few months, people from the Dominican republic have gotten their interview appointments by phone several days earlier than everybody else. And sure enough couple of people from DR reported getting interviews last Friday. Unfortunately they receive a lot of suspension because they can't provide "evidence". I watched this happen for at least 4 months now, we even had a small discussion here whether some posts on Facebook were real, and those posts belonged exactly to people from DR who reported their interviews very early on.

Yup, Dominicans don't wait for interview letters to arrive in the mail, we call 5 times a day to ask 🤣.

😁 But it was you that I had this discussion with, wasn't it? And what do you think, is my impression correct?

I know we have spoken in the past, but I don't remember discussing fake posts.  And yes, your impression is correct :D

That's cool and very useful. You guys should post more and be our guiding light 😆😎

Hahah the thing is that Dominicans don't use VJ that much since there is an FB group with almost 20,000 members posting and helping each other.  They only speak Spanish tho.
