Hi,

you better upload scans in color as the original.

Any foreign document needs a certified translation. If the language is the language of the country you have interview,

there might not need the need for translation, still, it is better to have a translation.

The person translating the document must certify that:

a) he is fluent in English and that language

b) that he made the translation to the best of his believes

He should sign and you scan and upload in color.

No need for an translation office or sworn translator.

Hi Michael,

Do you plan to call to NVC or wait patiently for the Invitation Letter?  My PD is Oct-11-2016, but I dont know what is better: call or wait.  Thanks.

Hi,

I am sorry I did not have much knowledge before I asked a question. Actually PD is only for i-130. I meant my wife sent i-485 on March-30th. I think the most matters is your PD and either it is approved or not. So ignore i-485 question.

We should be calling starting next Monday. Having a fixed date is better and more secure than waiting for the email, especially at an oversubscribed Embassy with backlog. Good luck mate!

Michael my pd is nov 28/16 - when do you think my interview will be? according to current trends i'm guessing late february - early march...do you agree?

DOS only gave prediction of 3-5 weeks till January. Seeing the high number of applicants, I would, for the rest of the year, not expect more than 3 weeks on average movement, maybe even less.  Of course some months could be more and some less or 0, but on average, for the rest of the year, I expect 2-3 weeks movement. Thus, 28 November could mean interview in March or April. Fingers crossed that it will be earlier!

Please report any success here.
