Got the IL on Friday Oct 6.

 

Question for people going to Montreal Embassy: 

Based on this website, I should get a Name Check Based police certificate. Is that what you plan on doing or have done as well?

@mfhCongratulations..so happy  for you..I submitted the name check based police certificate and they accepted  it..however  there has been a new rule on police certificate for Montreal embassy recently..I don't know if it applies for people who applied  before..you can check with nvc

is your PD Aug 22, 2016 and you already got your IL for Montreal? When was your case complete with the NVC?

 

My PD is May 25, 2016 and I am still waiting for my IL for Montreal.

We are not sure how to answer this question: " how long have we been together" 

Should the answer be how long have we been "married" or "in a relationship" in general?

how long have you been together = your whole relationship 

then they will ask how long have you been married. 

 

they might not even ask you this it all depends, everyone gets different questions
