I'm horrible with money. I get it from my father. He had a high paying job but did little else to growth his wealth. He just made money and essentially put it under the bed. He still is quite well off, but I can only imagine what he would have had if he also spent time investing it. I'm similar (and in the same field). I work a lot and I'm just too tired when I'm off to bother with following things and investing. I have a friend who is a physician who also does investments on the side for himself and about 15-20 other people. He makes a killing to the point where his physician salary (which itself is 6 figures) is basically nothing for him. Making that much money just isn't really a goal in my life I guess.

On topic -

I've said it before but if Trump is going to do anything well it will be the economy. I didn't oppose him because of his economic plans (I didn't think he had a very clear cut plan, but I wasn't against what he said). I didn't like him because of his social stances. I'd rather have our country be worse off economically but continue to be a beacon of inclusion, equality, freedom of religion etc... in the world. While our economy may be better off in 4 years, I worry we will have taken too many steps back in terms of social reform and progress.
