Hi,

I was wondering if anyone knows if you can see the hard and soft touches on your file at the California service center? when I look at the website it says the last update was 11-1-2016. received date of 10-25-16 but hard copy receipt of 10-28-16. anyone have any incite on this?

Thank you

I'm on the site but all I see is the last action they did was retinvmy husbands case in march 1, 2016. All other things when I select the case number and log in is what I ask questions and they assign an officer to tell me they have no set time to finish this case. Even with congressional inquiry it's the same.

Yes,

i am not seeing much either and that is why i am asking if anyone knows how to see more. we are waiting for NOA2 for a I129 F visa. I can see our time is very close to being processed. I wonder if our is just sitting in a box somewhere or if someone is actually looking at it?? but the Times on VJ are very confusing. every graph and time frame I look at is different.

Yes it is confusing , timelines I guess different because if circumstances. You can call and ask to speak to a tier two officer and if it's past the time to be processed they can ask to look into it. I don't have to much luck as ours returned to uscis. I'm praying they adjudicate ours soon, Ameen !

No not yet. It seems that the uscis is slowing way down right now. They were approving many before thanksgiving but it seems that all has stopped since then. I have know idea why other then they did system maintenance last weekend and are doing it again tomorrow night.

Hello,

I am new to this forum so please forgive my ignorance. Does anyone know how long it takes after your application has been delivered at the USCIS office that you get a file number or is contacted to confirm receipt?

Thank you Saffeelsj for the website that can track file progress.

Thank you!

if you are talking about the NOA1 it takes about a week, but if you did not sign up on the USCIS site for emails and text messages then you will receive it in the mail about a week after they receive it. you will get it in the mail either way.

Good luck

Thank you, we submitted the I-130, I-485, I-765 and I-131 for my spouse who is here on a 6 month visa. Will we be ok in terms of the visa expiration now that we have submitted all the application in particularly the application to adjust status. Once the application has been received and they give us a case number we should be ok right? Currently we have until end of April 2017 on the visa.

Thank you
