We did the same... i'm curious as well... Hang in there... also RFE on this last Monday  the 17th...

I / we will keep everyone posted..

gtiorobertsf said theirs is because they forgot to answer a question in the I129f form on page 5. I checked ours and we forgot to do the same. Hopefully and crossing our fingers that it's as simple as that. I feel silly, but at least in a way, there is progress. Do keep us updated. Goodluck! :)

Question: On the U.S Department Of State , Visa Check Status

States "In Transit" Your Interview date was provided to you by NVC

1) Whats does that mean ?

2) Do i have call NVC for the interview date?

In transit means your packet is on its way to the US embassy. When it says "ready" then it means the US embassy has received and processed the documents and ready to have the interview.

Each Embassy has their own rule about who schedule the appointment. Go to the US embassy website and see if they tell you who schedule the interview.

Yikes. Checking our form now. The application is so long that when you are filling it out you get blinded by the questions that you don't need to answer and those that you do. Looked at page 5 and I checked the boxes there that applied to us  Whew! Good luck!

It's just so frustrating when you're one of the 17 left untouched out of the hundreds of cases for Dec 9 and you can't figure out why. 😔

That's why you complete the forms and then look at it fresh the next day. That's what I did because it definitely all runs together. To be honest it's partially luck too about who is looking at your file.

Good Morning Everyone

Question: The K1 Visa is "Only" a One Time Entry Visa!

1) If a I have a B1/B2 Tourist Visa , Can I Still Use It To Leave The Country after the wedding and let's say example go on a honeymoon in the Caribbean?

2) Or/ the B1/B2 Tourist Visa Will Be Canceled?

Approved "almost".. 4/17  RFE sent, I am sure it has to be something easy to fix. Hopefully get it today or Saturday!

When we get the RFE needed,  I will post what it was... Help others in the process.

BTW, It is kinda nice not checking here 50 times a day, checking the USCIS site 100  hahahahaha

We will let everyone know, when we know..

Have a great weekend everyone!!!  Prayers to everyone to get through this!!!

Yes Roger Start Preparing your RFE

if you have additional proof of meeting , e.g. photos , texts start putting them together . You have a extra chance to build your case ! Ensuring you use priority mail to receive a tracking number via USPS and mail it back the address on the attach envelope they sent you!
