We thought we fell through the cracks, but better late then never. Over four months, but it happened

Congratulations! First time posting here. Ours is 111 days since received date. I'm a little disheartened but my fiance is patient and confident that we'll get our approval soon.

It is with great excitement that after 111 days of craziness, we got the RFE notice today! So on to the approval..

 

I know not "officially approved"  but usually its something we can answer or provide and will get approved right? I have no idea just yet what they want, but surely we can get it right back to them and will get approval. If I get proof right away and it  sent back in we should be "officially approved"  in 2-3 weeks!!!!!  I kept telling Grace, "Just give me an approved or RFE  we will get through this, I know it!"       

 

YES YES YES YES !!!!!!!!  And yes she is jumping for joy up and down!!!!

 

Now to get the RFE sent back in,  and in 1 1/2 - 2 months from approval, (HK is fast) Grace will be here!!!!

And to others, dream big, hang in there, you CAN do this too..  I am praying it's just a checked box or something.. if anyone else recently has had a RFE,  what was asked from you?

That is really annoying. The gentleman I spoke to made me feel like I was misinformed and did not know what I was talking about when I told him my application is at the California processing center. Hmmm....

Based on others it seems to range from not having a box checked,missing signature,missing form, or even proof that if you met on an online dating site that it isn't an international marriage broker. So you will just have to wait until you get the actual RFE reason and respond based on what yours was.

The RFE is being mailed to me... I have no idea what it is yet...  

 

But once fixed, we should be approved. Let's hope it is something simple.

That is awesome, that means that the info about USCIS updating once a day is misinformation, if you got it during the day. Now I might just go back to refreshing the page a million times a day.
