Yes, pick the K visa appointment. They consider it an " immigrant " visa because you will be moving to the US at some point. Even though we know K's are classified as " non immigrant ". It's just like the CEAC site consideres it " immigrant " when you check the status.  I just had to do this today as well, so congratulations!

Thanks! That's what I picked and paid the Visa fee and interview date May 24th. Congrats to you too! He's off May 5th and trying to get medical interview that day. The place he's going in Toronto says needs at least 10 business days to process medical exam and send to consulate so hoping May 5th isn't too soon. That's 19 days before.

My fiance lives in BC so she is going to the one in Surry. She is making the appointment in the next day or two...our interview date is may 31st. So hopefully everything will work out for a July wedding!

Sounds like it should be timed out just right for You! The medical is good for a month or so isn't it? Hope it works out perfectly!

Roger and Grace, you are a beautiful couple.

I hope your NOA2 comes soon so that you can be reunited again, this time for forever! :D

Thank you!  If it were not for faith and me being strong beautiful good people like Grace would just give up! One or both needs to just believe we got this.  We will get through it.

Ok this is getting to be to much concerning what date needs to be in the timeline for the approval estimate. First someone tells you that it is the date that your application was received to be indicated. Then another person tells you that it is supposed to be the notice date from your NOA1. This needs to get set straight by someone who is a moderator for these forums. This confusion needs to stop!!! I am also one that is getting frustrated over all of this confusion as to what date is supposed to be entered in a persons timeline. I do understand fully though that for the stats you use your received date.

Honestly, right now it doesnt even matter what VJ says your date is supposed to get approved or RFE'd on. It's WAY off for so many people it's meaningless.

I feel you. Waiting sucks. Don't get the hope up too quickly because once the approval doesn't come the date what VJ says, the disappointment gets bigger and stronger days by days.

Well after having did a little venting earlier about the confusion with what information needs to be posted on the timeline I have some good news. Have gotten approved today. Hew Haw!!! Have not gotten an official email or text saying been approved but the USCIS app. says my case has been approved. I now feel as though this big weight and 10,000 lb. gorilla has been lifted off my shoulders. Keep the faith people. It is going to happen soon and then all that anxiety and stress will suddenly just disappear.

Hey! here sends my big congratulations to you, too! I was typing my reply to your previous quote about my approval when i saw yours getting approved as well. A day difference from mine. Yay!!!

Congrats again and keep in touch for our PI USEM journey! 👏🎉👍

Also, to those who have gotten their NOA2s, Congratulations!!!

And to those who are still on the wait, again hang in there... you're next! 🙂👍

Aloha! 🙂

For Philippine-based beneficiaries, this is what packet 3 looks like which will be sent (mostly not) by the embassy. So, might as well Ipost it here so you can pace up your sched without waiting for the 'embassy letter'. :)

After NOA2 when NVC has forwarded your case to USEM, you need to prepare for this Packet 3/list of instructions and requirements:

So it is good for a month? I wasn't sure because he didn't get the email until after 5 yesterday so the doctor offices were closed. We picked the Toronto doctor (that's closest for him) and you email them with your interview date and date you would like exam and i guess they call him or email him with confirmation. Hopefully he hears from them today. A July wedding sounds very doable!! Good luck to you!
