My NOA1 was received today as well in the mail. Here are my dates for those waiting to understand the timeframe involved:

Dec 16th - Sent I-129f

Dec 19th - I-129f received by Texas Lockbox (signed according to fedex)

Dec 27th - Check Cashed (8 days wait)

Dec 28th - Email Notification (9 days wait)

Jan 3rd - NOA1 Received in Mail (16 days wait)

Forgot the most important date:

NOA1 Action Date: Dec 29th

April 22, 2020 - I-751 sent

April 23, 2020 - I-751 received at Lockbox

April 29, 2020 - Check cashed
??? - didn’t receive text or email confirmation. Ugh!

From looking and following K1 Timelines, here is what I've come up with:

  • None past Dec 21 received an NOA1 after Jan 3.
  • 3 filers sent Dec 21 received NOA1 Jan 3
  • 2 filers sent Dec 20 received NOA1 Jan 3
  • 4 filers sent Dec 19 received NOA1 Jan 3
  • couple lucky ones that sent Dec 19 received NOA1 in December.

So basically, keep patient, get lucky and hope.  Also try to keep your timelines updated so that others can track progress and see where they stand.

Thanks.

This is very helpful. Thanks for this. ?

Dec22 filer here. Still no NOA1. Hope to get ours within the week or early next week. :)

Good day, everyone! Newbie here. ?

Been reading from most forums and surveys that K1 cases with fiances/beneficiaries from the Philippines are being processed quite faster? Why is that so? Any thoughts and observations? ?

So my current status:

  • Dec 21 - sent I-129F
  • Check still not cleared
  • No Email Notification received
  • No NOA1 received
  • Jan 4 - received certified mail return receipt

Should I be worried that the check hasn't cleared and that I still haven't received an Email Notification?  It was certified delivered but from what I hear from most is that their checks have been cashed at the very least.

That is untrue. ALL K-1's have slowed down, processing times are over 65 days now for most starting with those who filed end of October. CSC got slammed with cases and barely work more than a half dozen a week. They seem to have focused their attention on things other than I-129F's.

Philippines gets no special treatment.

Hello everyone!

I've been looking for a place on this forum to share my NOA1 news and finally found it!

We got ours in the mail two days ago, and the notice date is December 28th :)

We didn't get any notification by email though. Is that normal? Is there anything we should do about it?

Yay, congrats! Did you submit the Form G-1145 with your application? It needs to be submitted with the petition if you want to receive text/email notifications.

Thank you,

I saw your profile on the Timelines table since our NOA1 dates are the same. So congratulations to you too, guys!

And no, we didn't submit that form, we were not even aware of its existence.

But my fiancé will still get NOA2 by mail anyway, right? Is it still time to send that form in order to get NOA2 by email/text?

Also, would the form also cover Packet 3 text/email notification in Morocco or that's a totally different story?

Thanks in advance :)

Yes, the petitioner will still receive NOA2 by paper mail. I'm not sure if you can still submit the G-1145 form, but it doesn't have much use at this point anyway because you can check the status of your case online as detailed in the NOA1 letter. Not sure about the Packet 3 for Morocco, but I think that the beneficiary receives it by email after the the case reaches the NVC or perhaps the consulate in Casablanca.

Sorry, I should have read the instructions better on USCIS official page. It says: "Clip the completed G-1145 to the front of the application or petition you are filing." So it's too late now, but no big deal as you said.

And yes, Packet 3 gets sent my email, in most cases at least. You can check my profile for links to my discussions on this very same subject.

And thanks again :)
