Approved yesterday! I checked my case status at work today and couldn't believe my eyes. I wish all of you who are still waiting for their NOA2s good luck and a lot of patience <3

P.S. Could someone tell me what should my next steps be?

Thanks in advance

Congrats to you my friend. Nothing yet for me. Now have to hope it will be my turn in the barrel next week.

Have been seeing a lot of people talking about going to Disneyworld with their fiancée as soon as they get here. Well, I'm going to be different and I'm going to take my fiancée to Hawaii as soon as I can. I can do that so easy because I work for an airline based here on the west coast and will be able to go there rather easily. Was there just last August 2016 with my daughter and her boyfriend as a birthday present for my daughter.

Hey @Herhorizon, my petitioner fiance resides in Oahu, Hawaii. Since our timelines are almost the same and your fiance is also from the Philippines like me, it would be nice if we'd have dinner for a simple celebration when you tour her around Hawaii. :) Glad you enjoyed Hawaii the last time you visited. :)

Our received date is Dec 28. Day 102 today. Also awaiting NOA2.

May we all get our respective NOA2 next week.

Happy weekend! :)

Hi Brandon y Nadia, congrats!

seems like it's about 3 weeks from the NOA2 notice. Do you plan on scheduling medical prior to receiving the packet 3 letter from embassy in Bs.As.?

I'm kind of anxious about this because I'm still only 1 week from my approval notice, and I have no idea how soon the embassy authorized doctors can have availability for an appointment. If you find out, would you please let me know?

Hello Vesca nice to see another filer going out of Argentina :). We plan to wait until my fiancée receives packet 3. Although I think I will have my fiancée call once it shows that the embassy has received the case from NVC. Didn't really find a lot of country specific data on Argentina on VJ but I don't think process will be any worse than when she got her tourist visa with the only big difference being the medical ( we will look to get her vaccinations done also for AOS as well ). Will let you know our case shows in transit now so hopefully they received in next 1-2 weeks assuming they use snail mail.

Been to Hawaii, Maui Oahu Kawaii.  Probably Maui my favorite so far! The bike ride starting at 3 am up high on the volcano 33 miles downhill was amazing!!

Those of us who are still waiting, I guess our packets were placed at the very bottom of each stack assigned to every adjudicator, or he/she just took a long vacation due to kid's spring break :D  Anyway, let's just pray and try not to worry because eventually the good news will come to us.

Chanting my "pick mine soon" chant!!!  Hahahaha

Thanks! From what I gathered on embassy website, Argentine embassy asks the proof of having completed medical as part of the documents required to send back(photocopies of the cover of the sealed envelope prepared by the doctor). And to book an appointment of medical, the case number is needed. I reckon that once NVC issues the case number, it can be used to book an appointment even though embassy has yet to receive the visa package. What I hope to achieve is that I can possibly start on medical (as it's quite time consuming because there are two parts: 1st one is a visit during which the doctor examines vaccination record and orders tests to be done; 2nd one is returning all the test results to the doctor and he/she prepares a sealed envelope). By the time the embassy sends out the packet 3 document request, I might be able to have completed the medical and send back all documents with minimum delay.

My fiancée tells me you need to wait until you receive packet 3 before you schedule that medical. So we are just going to go by the book to hopefully avoid any delays.

Happy weekend! :)

AlohaDestiny and Herhorizon, I live on Kauai and my Fiancé and I are going to go Jollibee first thing after she flys into Honolulu. 😂 It's the last time she'll be able to go every Sunday like she can in Singapore.

If either of you manage to make it to Kauai please be sure to get in touch. Our dates are within 5 days of each other so our loves should get here around the same time. I should be realized that there would have been uptick in applications because of the fee increase.

I'm from San Diego and Disneyland is definitely in the plans on our first trip home. 😂

Here's hoping we all get approved next week.  Jon&Malen

Got my approval last night at 7pm! Which was a nice little post shower suprise haha. If anyone that has dealt with the US Embassy in Bogota can let me know how long it should take/how we are receiving the next bit of info?
