Same question! Praying for some news this week! My app was received Dec 21 and hardcopy NOA1 received Jan 2.

Good luck everyone :)

Since it's a non immigrant visa on the basis of marriage you would make it for 3 months

Same Question.

How do we fill dates when travelling on K1 visa? and the return date is filled on DS160 'Before' the visa is given, so I cant even fill 90 days from visa date.

Ideally answer should be 'Permanently' or 90 days from K1 visa date.

Which date to fill ??

Yeah, I learned you project the return date for 3 months.  And projected travel date is just a projection

For those of you who get your case number and you search for the status of your case, you must select "immigrant visa" not non immigrant.  I called the NVC and they confirmed this is correct, because they are "intending to immigrant".  Even though everything tells us non immigrant, for searching purposes select immigrant.  Wil save you some time to know this

That's an estimate based upon other submitted VJ timelines. It's not a sure thing. You have to check the official USCIS timeline for processed dates and if it's past that date you can contact them.  I believe it's currently in October. So, lots of people are still waiting. (myself included)

I know, I am laughing... And hopeful, not angry...

97 days for us, as of today. 4/3/17

Mine was approved on the 99th day. Keep the faith! Good luck.

Confirmed. Nvc sent us to immigrant as well when we called (but gave us our case number anyway). My telephone-phobic fiance was freaking out. I later used the non-immigrant side nvc and it couldn't find my case number, while the immigrant side did.

So was I with regards the second part of my support. Was just adding the fact that a lot of us are also calling the wrong number, which supports the website fact as well.

Any time of day better than others to click on the USCIS Status to know?

I just checked every day at 6pm their time (or the morning after if I had gone to bed already). And I checked my number in the Excel file as well when it was posted here.

Just don't drive yourself nuts checking it multiple times a day, because what's after this uncontrollable wait? Exactly, another uncontrollable wait. And then yet another one.

(Rant not aimed at you personally, but just at the forum: )

I'm finally done with the nvc wait, and now I'm waiting on the embassy, who haven't sent me anything the past two weeks since they've received my case. I was hoping they'd be faster like they were for many others (1 week for the few who reported; 4 weeks for some others). And I'm in an apartment building where post often gets misplaced (I've gotten reminder bills for bills that were put in my mailbox 2 weeks after the reminder by another tenant who forgot to put it back), so I'm nervous about that as well. Am I waiting for something real, or for something in vain? Do I call now, or next week? (Not real questions, as I decided to give them 4 weeks to reach me.).

I hate the waiting. HATE it.

And luckily, I found a great job to occupy myself with in the meantime, because not working, drove me b4tsh1t insane.

I would refresh the USCIS site every hour. Sometimes more, but I don't want to sound like a lunatic. And right before I started working again, I got back my letter to obtain my (empty) criminal records with a "return to sender, no such address", and when I looked it up, it IS that address. I almost cried over nothing.

And then I started working, and I was no longer ruled by my hormones. Would recommend, 5/7.

I hate the waiting. HATE it.  I hear ya!!   I do check like 10 times a day  during the day.. it IS nuts.. But 6 PM California time is 9 PM EST  So.....  Maybe when I get off work,  try to just relax till maybe 9:30 -10 PM is a better plan?  I'm feeling like Verruca Salt singing... "I want it now.. I want it right now"  WWATCF

Yup the waiting game sucks. Every level of the process is waiting and waiting.

I called NVC today and the guy told me nope its not here yet. 😫

Me too. I got the typical "it can take up to six weeks for us to receive case" line.
