From what I'm seeing on other peoples timelines, that estimate seems to be fairly accurate... I am still waiting on the NVC to receive the application though.

 Thank you for the reply are you saying that this is normal and the administrative processing is just the NVC processing the visa application? As opposed to the black hole of a bureaucracy?

Hi again. We just got our case number today. But how can we get the date that the NVC received our approved application from USCIS? Unlike the others here I saw they have the date added to their timeline. I saw too from CEAC VISA tracker that it is still at NVC.. How many days are we gonna wait til they update and send our packet to USEM? Just preparing for the schedules that we need to set

Yes,  they package it up and send your files to the embassy to where the interview will be.. 2-3 weeks..

Nice Picture...  They add the date when they get instructions from the NVC number after your NOA 2 is given to you..

if it takes longer than 2-3 weeks by all means call daily.... I would call after 2 if it was me.

Hi guys. This waiting is driving me nuts. Im checking the uscis web multiple times a day. 🙈. Here's my timeline:

12/14/2016 - form i-129f received

3/22/2017 - noa2 approval date

 

it's been a week since my approval date and i am itching to call nvc now to get my case number but i know i should wait until next week to call nvc, right?

 

is it realistic to have the visa on hand by late may?

Our nvc took 2 weeks to get a number, and we got it at the 24th. By the time we called (28th), it was already at the embassy in Brussels. So it does go fast. I have no idea when they sent it out, for example, but who cares lol. Now we wait for the embassy.
