Thanks AkesAngel!

Just noted that the cases before and after mine are approved. Mine is the only untouched one among some approved ones. Did my case fall between the gaps between their desks?:unsure:

I'm in the same situation, it's a bit frustrating.

Perhaps they saw the stack of evidence I submitted with mine and thought "we don't want to deal with that today" lol

Received my NOA2. Got the NVC case number and invoice number last week. Now I'm told I'm in administrative processing at the NVC.   I am so hoping that means they are working on processing the application to send to the embassy and not that we've fallen into the black hole that is government beauracracy. .

Unfortunately my case still untouched and it's among some approved ones. Are they planning to send me a RFE ? Is it normal? My gosh, I am so nervous about it ? We received our NOA1 in December 16th, still waiting for NOA2....

It's so hard to plan a wedding, rent a place to live and etc while We are waiting for their answer.

And I also gotta go to Rio de Janeiro for the interview... my gosh >.<

Hello everyone. New here. Our case was received on December 6, and we're one of those "lucky" ones that haven't even been touched yet.

I know there are a LOT of people in the same situation as us, but I just wanted to thank those who have updated and shared any info they have! The long wait in the dark is the absolute worst, so being able to see some progress and/or data trickling in is better than nothin'. Best of luck to you all!

December 1, 2016: Mailed I-129F

December 6, 2016: Case Received

December 9, 2016: Notified by email

December 11, 2016: NOA1 By Mail

December 11, 2016 - June 3, 2017: Waited and waited and waited, called, yelled, demanded answers. :-P

May 31, 2017: I-129F Approved

June 3, 2017: NOA2 by email

June 19, 2017: Called and received case number from NVC

June 21, 2017: Case received by consulate in South Africa.

So frustrating seeing people who have put in their petition after yours and already been approved! Seriously?! Lol. Then you call USCIS and they say they are only working on October 15, 2016. Then you ask why is it people I know from December and January been approved already if you're only working on October?--"Sorry sir but I can't answer that question"--they never help lol. Also can anyone explain why they have two different dates on the case processing times for CSC? One at the top which says January 31st, 2017 and one in small print on the bottom that says March 14, 2017. So much conflicting information that doesn't make any sense...

PrisEri, you say "it" says in transit...may I ask what "it' is? ive been looking for a way to track the thing other than calling the NVC...We got our NOA 2 on the 17th, and the NVC says they don't have it yet.

Hi, you have to call NVC to get the case number with which you will track the case on CEAC status check (Immigrant). Going by your NOA 2 date they should have your case by today or tomorrow. Call them at 11pm today and tomorrow as well. They kept saying they didn't have our case and we kept calling until we got it.

No worries, once it gets to NVC things move quickly. So get all documents ready for packet 3.

I still have heard it said 2-3 weeks to get to the proper embassy.
