Getting there. Starting to seem like March sometime we may get approvals or RFE's but I hear over in the November forum just Nov 14th had 442 cases alone so once they get based that ( which was more cases than the month of November combined ) then I think late February/early March they will begin December cases

Hi!

Yes we do hope so, all the best for us December Filers :D

Hi All! I am a December filer to Cuba. We submitted out I-129F petition on Dec 21, check was cashed two days later, and I received NOA1 on Jan 2. Now just waiting...and wondering when I should start to prepare Affidavit of Support documents?

Thanks for making this forum! :)

Great, thank you @Ray&Ash! I have a copy of our I-129F petition, proof of ongoing relationship, and will prepare whatever else I can. Thanks again!

Definitely wait until you get your NOA2.  When we submitted in November, everything seemed to be moving really quickly (people were getting their NOA2 in 3-4 weeks), so I got a jump-start on everything: I organized my W2's, asked my employer for a letter verifying my salary and employment status, and got a letter from my bank.  Now that it's been a few months, I'll have to redo the last two.  It's not a big deal, but I could have saved myself some time if I'd waited for the NOA2.

I'm really pleased they're moving quickly again now! I hope they keep it up. I'm a January filer, and the wait is probably going to drive me crazy. Luckily though, I have 3 visits to the US booked to visit my fiancé between now and April, which will help things so much. I wish there was a fee you could pay to be expedited, because I would definitely pay it!

Im not sure what that means since there isnt anything else in the alert and its only on the one App. Anyone have any idea what this means?

Also a Deceber 6th filer.

Thanks

Whats your NOA1 date? This notification alert might have been for a 'similar' case (based on your alert settings, and NOT for your own case. Check the case number again...

Good luck :)

Welcome and good luck!! Patience is definitely the key lol!

you should follow the November i129f group as it is full of really helpful people and there are a few you do scans on the November apps and put out a little report. As of just now they seemed to be focused on November up until 17th but things seem to be picking up pace.

as for affidavit that up to you, your fiancé could start filling it out once you get an noa2. That what we are doing but have all the other evidence gathered and in place just to simply up date and fax over :)

Based on the reports from the November thread, it looks like it takes around 80-90 days for the NOA2 :( We all need patience and good luck! Hopefully our cases will get approved soon

HI everyone, filed our K1 application on Dec 15th to the Texas lockbox received on Dec 23rd (got a return receipt text from usps, confirmed by USCIS receipt.)  got an email notification on Jan 5th. Received the I-797C (NOA1?) receipt on Jan 9th. Case transferred to the Calfifornia service center. Okay so here's my question what day do I use to start counting? My Fiancé is an OFW in Singapore and she thought her work contract was going to finish on May 7th. Now she realized that the contract is ending on April 7th. There is a possibility that she could be extended for 30 days but I'm afraid that's not going to be enough time. I know that the Singapore Consulate processes Visa applications faster than the Manila Embassy due to lower amount of Visas going through it. I'm worried that we may have to transfer our case to Manila which could add months to our process. Please pray that they speed up approving applications and we all get to be with our loved ones as soon as possible!! God Bless us all!

Thanks for any input, Jon & Malen
