In our case it was a question they asked about who proposed so I'm thinking it should be formalized. If the answe is we have done it formally it may be a red flag. I would er on the cautious side since you don't want them to question anything. They really do have sole discretion on approving the application.

Also, how and when do you send additional information? Anytime after you receive the NOA1 letter?

Don't send anything to USCIS after the initial petition, unless they ask you for it via RFE.

You'll also be able to provide additional information and evidence at the interview stage.

Good luck!

Formal as in the "will you marry me question" with a date? We didn't do all of that. We always talk about marriage so it's not a big deal for us.

I submitted a lot of documentation. I submitted call logs from calling card, whatsapp and messenger, pictures and airlines tickets. Even our son's birth certificate. I'm going to see him next week so I will have additional photos etc - how do I submit those?

I have my last 3 years taxes so that's not an issue.

We didn't have a formal engagement with friends and family either. CO didn't ask me evidences of formal engagement party. Just be honest if they do.

You sound like me!! LOL!! I guess it depends on the officer. I did a lot of front loading though. I'm traveling tomorrow to see him so there will be more pics when it's time for the interview.

Our deepest fear is not that we are inadequate. Our deepest fear is that we are powerful beyond measure. It is our light, not our darkness that most frightens us. We ask ourselves, 'Who am I to be brilliant, gorgeous, talented, fabulous?' Actually, who are you not to be? You are a child of God. Your playing small does not serve the world. There is nothing enlightened about shrinking so that other people won't feel insecure around you. We are all meant to shine, as children do. We were born to make manifest the glory of God that is within us. It's not just in some of us; it's in everyone. And as we let our own light shine, we unconsciously give other people permission to do the same. As we are liberated from our own fear, our presence automatically liberates others.

Marianne Williamson.

Those that know me know just how powerful this quote is and its meaning in my life. I hope, wherever you are in your journey, it touches you  and moves you to greatness too!!!

To my Fiancé Grace....

Thank you for believing in me, in yourself, and most important in us!  You will do great Thursday is your interview Aug 17th!!!  (We started the filing December 2016!

Know that you have my own and my family and friends have prayers going your way... Grace, we got this!! And if you doubt anything just look at the pics I sent you, when I came to visit you in Honkong and you will see it in both of our eyes!  I Love You!!

I know i am way behind from the rest of you but how soon did people call NVC for their tracking #? It has been 10 days since we were approved.

I called around 10 days. Sometimes you get one that is not having a good day and they tell you have to wait atleast a month before you should call. But I called back 2 days later and got my case number. It is worthwhile to call every other day. I got mine letter from the NVC with the case number a few days after my financee recieve her packet.

Thanks a ton, I was just going to ask you specifically when you called NVC since your NOA2 is the closest to mine :)

Try calling this number (603) 334-0888. It is for non-immigrant visa. So you can actually get through to talk to someone.I could never talk to anyone with the other number.
