Awesome.  We just sent back packet 3.  We're next!!!

Good luck!

Seeing your time line, there is quite some steps like XXX received or send and it is taking a couple months in the end.

Our CEAC status is still "at nvc", based on your experience, is there anything that is under our control to make things faster? (I know we cannot do police report here yet as our police do not accept individuals. Only consulate can request this vetting on our behalf...)

Certified copy are ok.  Never send original.

Congratz, my fiance is going to her interview soon after her medical in August.

Just curious, but how long is the wait to schedule an interview? We just got our NOA2 10 days ago, but we have prep all of the other stuff already.

Not long, we was able to schedule for July 27 but my fiance did not have her original justice record #2 yet so we are waiting on that then schedule interview for September when I came back to visit.

Oh that is awesome. I will be landing there on September 15th in the morning as well. Hope to get an interview sometime in late September. Will you be spending most of your time in Saigon?

Yeah I will spend about 6 weeks in Saigon with my fiance.  Probably travel somewhere for a week.  How about you?

How was your fiance interview?

My interview was good , the officers were so kind and friendly.

they asked me around 16 questions and then they gave me two white cards about immigration law in The US. They gave me one yellow card 221g because of my medical.

i will have my medical this Coming Tuesday so they said once we recieve your medical result we will work on your case.

So my interview is in two days and I'm super nervous because I don't have everything that I wanted to have in hand. My medical still isn't finalised, although I managed to get the psych review done on Wednesday. The psychiatrist still hasn't forwarded his report on to my assessment doctor so it won't be ready before my interview. :(

I also don't have the letters from the bank for my sponsor and co-sponsor as their bank flat out refused to do them (curse you wellsfargo), despite them both talking to managers of multiple banks. I do have 12 months of printed statements for them both though. I just hope that's going to be enough along with their W2s for the last few years and our co-sponsors pay stubs, letter from employer and list of bonds. Our co-sponsor earns far more than enough, but my fiance is currently unemployed so am worried it won't even matter.

I'm just so scared of being denied, especially as it has been so long since we last saw each other (19months and counting), but  I don't know what else I can do to make it any easier. My fiance has become extremely depressed between being apart so long and him now being unemployed that I really don't know what will happen if we were to get denied or be stuck in administrative processing for a long time. :(

But, on the other hand seeing all of you moving forward and starting to be reunited with your loved ones give me at least a little hope.

Sorry to hear that the managers of the branches refused your sponsor. I think you need to contact the credit department of the bank. That's what I did and I didn't have a problem. The managers don't usually deal with those kind of requests but if you can get a your sponsors to call the customer service number you might be surprised. Wishing you the best!

My fiancé had his interview yesterday at the consulate in Sydney, Australia. He had a really easy time while there- this is what he said happened:

It's kind of interesting how it all went. There were two booths where the interviews were being conducted in full sight and hearing of everyone in the waiting room then there were four administrative booths. They'd take your paperwork and make sure it was complete then get you to sit back down and wait to be called for an interview while they organized the paperwork and handed it to the interviewer to examine then call you up. So I waited in there about an hour and a quarter then they called me up and took my paperwork and told me to sit back down for another fifteen minutes. Then I got called up to an interview booth up in the back corner out of sight or hearing of anyone else. And the guy literally asked 'who is the petitioner' I said 'my fiancée Courtney -------------------------' he said 'when did you meet her' I said 'I met her online in April 2016' he said 'when did you meet her in person' I said 'in June of 2016' he said 'when did you last see her' I said 'back in September 2016' he said 'so you haven't seen her since you were denied entry in October 2016' I said 'no sir' then he looked down at the papers and handed them to me and said 'your visa has been approved, have a nice day'....and that's all it was!!! It was probably half as short as all the others I watched (there were ten people ahead of me and seven of them were also K1 visas) no 'describe to me how y'all met' 'where do you plan to live' 'how do you plan to support yourself' 'tell me about your engagement' etc.

We are so glad to have that done!! Hoping all of y'all's goes through soon as well! What a journey it's been!

I probably saw him there! His interview sounds much easier than everyone else's.

Could you do me a huge favour and ask what the consulate handed back to him in regards to financial documents yesterday? They handed all of my supporting documents back but they also gave back the i 134 forms themselves and I can't help but worry that they were meant to keep that bit. :S

Congrats on the verbal approval. Hopefully our online statuses change soon

I think they gave pretty much everything back- they did definitely make copies of our I-797 notifications and add them to their files. They didn't even look at the evidence for hardly anything- we were VERY surprised about this, because my fiancé had been denied entry to the U.S. last year on an ESTA. I'm hoping they got everything they needed....that would be a mess! :S
