HI Everyone! Today is the day. At 8:45 and 9:45 this morning in Singapore my Fiancé Malen and two others have their interviews. Malen is very nervous but I am confident that she's going to do just fine. She got new shoes  and a new dress so she will feel good and look fantastic!! 😘😍 please keep your fingers crossed that we didn't miss anything and that we get approved today! God bless everyone. Jon & Malen

Woohooo!!! And waaa!! How to be happy and upset at the same time. We are approved but waiting for the damned Cenomar to get to the Embassy. We paid Ecensus on May 18th and supposedly it was sent on June 6th  if anyone knows how to get ahold of philpost I'd love to find out. I can't even connect to their website. Very happy but pissed doesn't even come close. God bless. Jon & Malen.

HI you&me15, can you tell me how? I tried to set up my Personal FedEx account like five times before I got frustrated and gave up. I just talked to the consular officer and told him that I have the tracking number that shows Singpost delivered it to the Embassy on June 13th. He has seen my email and photo of the tracking and said that he will look for it again.

Hi it is Neal, GOOD LUCK on your interview tomorrow!! I am sure it will go easy, and I can't wait to hear how it went! Thank you,

Neal

Hey Neal... Not a good day !

I was informed since I am an Indian applying from Thailand, they need to get my documents verified from India (Single certificate and police verification). I dont know why they were waiting till today. They had these documents since Packet 3.

Anyway, everything else was in line, so need to wait another 15 days before we get any update. They gave one letter along with my passport saying "under administrative processing. No need to submit any other documents." Hopefully we will get some more information soon. Anyone else got anything like this?

Sharing my experience below:

Your fiance should only plan to reach there 15 mins before the appointment time. Since they give a sequence number based on the appointment time. Good thing is for K1 visa there is a separate line and a separate counter. Just need to go to counter number 1 to start the process. But the bad news is process is so slow that all other visas were finished before 60% of immigrant visas could finish. Interview was hardly for 1 min for each applicant, waiting time was long. They asked basic questions like how did we meet? how many times we have met each other? When do I plan to go there? They asked more question about my job and why I was living in Thailand (since I was the only Non Thai applying in this category).

They didnt reject any applicant. There were total 15 applicants (2 Green Card, for me Fiance and rest all spouse visa). My appointment time was 9 am and I was called for interview at 11 am. There is a canteen where we can get snacks. Small place so little crowded.

Good luck to both of you !

Anything else you need to know please let me know.

Are they going to do police verification for you because I had to get my police clearance certificate myself.

Hi Riya,

I was going through website of indian embassy in Bangkok and they have one service called "Verification of Single Certificate" so I am guessing before submitting our single certificate in packet 3 we were supposed to get it verified from embassy. Though I am not sure. For Police certificate, I got it on my own from Indian Embassy only so I do think it has any issue.

I have goofed up in a serious way.

Reviewing my I-134 there is a question 2a-2c. Question reads Other names used including ever used, aliases, maiden name and nick names.

I completely forgot when I submitted the original 1-129 about my mother changing my name at 3 years old.

The lawyer is going to check and see if there is something we can do about.

Anyone else experience this?

Well I happy to share the news. After waiting 211 days I finally got an email regarding my inquiry last month that my I129F was approved on 7/11/2017. And the NOA2 arrived today. I can finally breath.

Congratz, now things will move much faster now.  You can call NVC to get a case number in a few weeks, after they assign you a case number, they won't keep the petition their long(usually ship to embassy within a week) because it's a K1 petition.
