Wooohooo!! Interview date of July 11th!! Already got notice that the Cenomar has been delivered and now just need to complete the fingerprinting at the Singapore police on the 28th and we will be ready! All of the way we have been blessed to have friends that have helped and guided us through this journey. Thank you all from the bottom of our hearts. Jon & Malen

Yes, same here.  12/27 received and no responses yet.  We are both past processing times.  I submitted an inquiry and have not yet heard back from them.  Have you submitted an inquiry yet?

Yes we did and we received a response saying we our application is on administrative hold until we clear security check. I am a 12/9 filer.

I am worrying that will be my case, does anyone know why some cases get put on hold because of security check? What would cause a security check and hold.

Good luck to both of you as well.

While we were celebrating interview date, we realized that spelling of my name is wrong on interview letter. Two alphabets got inter-changed ! :angry:

So now have sent them an email. Lets see what happens.

I can't imagine a spelling error will be an issue. It is their mistake! I also got my interview date yesterday, for July 17 at 7:00. We are extremely excited!!

She ha gotten all her vaccinations, and only need the medical now, with plenty of time. Interview date will be about 200 days since sending in K1. Long, sometimes excruciating wait! Good Luck to you both, is you fiance in Bangkok?

Anyone else from December still waiting on an NOA2? This has been the longest 192 days of my life.

We're December filer, they received our RFE on May 10, and still waiting for NOA2.  Made inquiry but no response yet why it's taking so long.

Hello everyone

my fiancé and i went to out interview today and was denied under section 212 a 9ai but we are eligible for a waiver. The things is we filled our wavier before the interview and uscis said they received it June 6,2017 we even presented the printed out wavier packet..however the CO said it was not in the system. She then handed over some information to contact to see where our case is located. We called our lawyer as soon us we got home and told her the information. Everything else in the packet seemed fine and the CO's seemed very apologetic. Our just told its to stand by and maybe we can set another interview. Is there anyone on Visa Journey who has every experience anything similar to this or if anyone had any advice please feel free to comment. Thank  you

OMG! So sorry to hear! I don't understand, the printed out waiver should have been enough...even thou it wasn't in the system.

What did your lawyer say?

You can checkout Law offices of Spar & Bernstein,PC located in NY # 1 800 529 5465. They deal with all aspects ; concerning Immigration & more. They also have a FB live Monday-Friday 9am & 12pm (1hr) where they answer immigration  questions from any caller.

They would need time to adjudicate the waiver, the result would be the same

Thanks Neal,

We actually got a reply from them and which said Visa will be issued on the name in Passport. But interview letter remains the same. Now almost all ready for interview, have medical appointment coming Saturday.

My fiance lives in North Carolina. I am living here in Bangkok.

Good luck to you guys as well. I will update you after the interview, may be it can be of some help to your fiance. :)
