Hey guys, I am still currently waiting for NOA2 I am a January filer 1/17/17 NOA1 date to be exact. I just called and they let me make an inquiry on my case. I was wondering if anyone else has made an inquiry and heard back from them with any informative news or just more of nothing. Just wondering if the inquiry is going to give me any more light on my case or not. Thanks any info would be apprecaited!

We submitted an inquiry and did eventually receive an email with a report out of the findings. Luckily our case was approved between the inquiry and when they reported out, so the news was that we were approved (at about 6 months wait time, that is). It took around 2-3 weeks to hear back from the inquiry if I'm remembering correctly.

December 1, 2016: Mailed I-129F

December 6, 2016: Case Received

December 9, 2016: Notified by email

December 11, 2016: NOA1 By Mail

December 11, 2016 - June 3, 2017: Waited and waited and waited, called, yelled, demanded answers. :-P

May 31, 2017: I-129F Approved

June 3, 2017: NOA2 by email

June 19, 2017: Called and received case number from NVC

June 21, 2017: Case received by consulate in South Africa.

Anyone else from December still waiting on an NOA2? This has been the longest 192 days of my life.

Still can't believe you guys are still waiting...Hang in there. It will eventually come. I know that's no consolation at all, but nothing--not even USCIS incompetence--lasts forever.

I am still waiting for my NOA2. I got a response from my second congressional inquiry last friday saying that I will get a responses from USCIS in 30 to 45 days. So we will see when it happens.

It's been almost 4 weeks since we received confirmation that DS-160 (packet 3) was received by the embassy, still no interview appointment sent. This is probably more annoying than the wait for NOA2!

Email The U.S Embassy Immigrant Visa Side, Requesting Packet 4.

All my interactions with them so far have been via email which is why I found it weird that we haven't heard anything. Packet 3 was sent to us and we returned the form via email as well. Should we still request packet 4?

Yes, same here.  12/27 received and no responses yet.  We are both past processing times.  I submitted an inquiry and have not yet heard back from them.  Have you submitted an inquiry yet?

Congratulations! We had sent the Packet 3, but did not send the confirmation page. They emailed us, so today we sent the confirmation, and hope to get the interview date tomorrow. Thank you and Good Luck!

Good luck to both of you as well.

While we were celebrating interview date, we realized that spelling of my name is wrong on interview letter. Two alphabets got inter-changed ! :angry:

So now have sent them an email. Lets see what happens.
