they said during medical specially for xrays it is advisable to drink evaporated milk before hand, will pray that the procedure will not take so much time.

ours is till in transit, they said it will take 2-3weeks before qatar consulate will send as an email that our case is ready. anyhow no rush as i need to go to manila since i cannot get my nbi clearance here in qatar. will be traveling to manila next week to get my nbi.

That's an urban myth. Drinking milk has no scientific means to help anything. If you want to do it then by all means, but it's not a magic cure.  Some people say evaporated, some say whole milk, some say bear brand.

Tons of stories on here where people drank tons of milk and still had to do the sputum test.

Roger, I FedExed my response overnight and it shows on my tracker that it  was received April 26th. Nothing back yet, my hand shakes when i go to open the mailbox, only to see Costco ads, and lawn services!! Anyway I will let you know if anything changes, I don't suppose calling them would do any good?

yes... I shake too.. I can almost tell you what prices are now in a quick glance!!

Can you fail the medical by any chance  if you are a smoker?

Some people say smoking has a negative impact on the xray. However, they're checking for TB, so technically no. Now if you've been smoking for a really long time and have some sort of scarring from it then they'll probably do a sputum test, because they need to verify what the scarring is from.

They should be able to tell the difference between smoking and TB, but the medical staff will go on the side of caution and make you do a sputum test if they see anything they can't immediately identify.

Hey guys any chance the scans are coming out? I asked @geowrian for the instructions and can start doing them if others arent able to.

@hy2016 @geowrian I haven't stopped working; the tracker has stopped working. I am running them and posting them when the tracker is functioning, which unfortunately, as others have said here, it isn't. User data confirms this. If you or someone else would like to run them while the system is down you are more than welcome, but I would not recommend spending your time that way, as the data you get will be wrong.

Hmm, that';s unusual. What exactly isn't working? Is the scan failing or is it not giving accurate date? I am running scans for Nov. still and they run fine, albeit it's a far smaller subset of cases. And they're pretty old now so there's extremely little movement.

There are a several Jan and few Feb filers who have received their NOA2 hard copy by mail but their USCIS online status still shows as "recieved" only.  There is something going on where they are not updating all records in the online system.

Also someone from January said they called USCIS yesterday and were told they got an RFE May 11th, but the system still shows the case as received. So no, the tracker is not working, not for Approvals nor RFEs, just for a few cases randomly.

So it's a matter of the website not updating. Awesome. =.= I'm not sure what to do there if the data just isn't available. I'll do a bigger scan tonight and see what shows up. What I have been noticing is that past days have been showing more data after my scans than normal. I've even been running them closer to midnight (ET), but the next day I see new updates from the prior date. But like I said before, I'm working with such a small data set (~100 still pending records), that a couple records here and there is all I see.

Yeah, @dbmathis has been running Jan scans with little to no activity for the month of May. Then all a sudden last week folks just started getting NOA2s in the mail with no update to their web status.  There is something going on somewhere - my concern is that is probably not high up on their list to fix - who knows though :)

drinking evaporated milk, sterilized milk has nothing to do with the success of your clear x-ray result. Milk won't go through our lungs or so.

I didn't have any preparation for my medical examination and actually I haven't had enough sleep that day. Everything went well.

I just hope I didn't miss it in the mail. I check everyday just before I turn the key to open the mailbox I say a prayer. Please be there... so far nothing.
