HI everyone, I'm very confused. My Future Mother in law went to the PSA today. She went to the central office in Manila and was told to go to the Mall of Asia PSA ( or right by it) because it was the only one that can send the cenomar internationally. She waited in a line of one thousand people and when she got to the counter the clerk told her that we needed a letter from the Singapore US Embassy to get it and that she has to go back to the Central office again I'm like wth?? I talked to the clerk who was very apologetic but would not help us. If I hear Po No again I'm going to scream!

When I called the psa help line the other day the woman told me that they don't send the Cenomar directly to the embassy but I emailed the embassy and they said they won't accept it from the applicant. Talk about a catch 22!! Help!!!

I got my Manila case number last May 10. It was in transit since the 11th. How long does it usually take for it to reach Manila?

Should be there now. If not, definitely soon. My fiances took 4 or 5 days.

Now that i have my mnl number, can i sched interview? Or do i really need to wait for the "ready" status? Other than the documents needed and ds160 what other steps can i get to in advance?

Ok, it was an ID10T error. I went to E-census.com and if you use your fiancés name as the requestor you can fill out everything. There is a check box that says "Deliver to this Embassy". I  could not check deliver to in our case because it doesn't list the Singapore US Embassy as a choice. Fill out the address using the embassy's (wherever you may need to send it) and I was able to complete the request and even though it was in her name I was able to use my credit card to complete the transaction. There was no place to pick which delivery I wanted FedEx ( of course) but when I went to sing up for my personal account there was an error. I did email E-Census to update my delivery options. I hope my stupidity saves you time and stress! There is enough stress that we could power the Philippines for years if we could just harness it. Good luck! Jon & Malen

Thank you.. I have prepared all the docs needed and just waiting for the documents my fiance will send me. I have filled out but not yet submitted the ds160. Can i schedule an appointment even though it is still in transit status? Or do i really need to wait for the status to change tk 'ready'?

That is to long, have you tried calling, I believe you are past waiting time. Try calling either way see what they say. Good luck to you, AI feel your pain, I returned an RFE on April 26th and nothing yet, total 146 days here, complete torture every day!!

Yes I have tried calling twice and keep getting the same speech about how it is still within their processing time. They told me once they it is pass my processing time (which will happen in a few days when they update the website), then I can submit an online inquiry. I submitted a congressional inquiry with a senator about 15 days ago and got back a response a few days ago saying how they contacted the USCIS and my case is still within processing time. So I am going to wait til they update their processing time and submit a online inquiry. I am also planning on submitting a congressional inquiry with a house representative. I am so desperate to get some news. We plan for a wedding on October 1st. At first that seem way too far, but now we don't know if she will be here by that date.
