Sorry for the ignorance, but what is a RFE? Thank you!

Request for evidence, it means there is a problem, normally it is something simple, like unchecked box,

or missing signature, it is good and bad, bad because there was a problem, good because they have touched your file and it is usually only 2 -4 weeks until they respond and hopefully give the aproval!!

Our Update.  We sent back the RFE.  (They needed new pictures and her letter.)

Sent back and received certified mail,  April 3rd...

Waiting for something this easy to check off and move on for our approval is nuts!!

Just praying it is soon!  Good luck all..

I agree, got them back exactly what they needed, very simple, now go ahead and approve!! I did look back at many timelines, and they all have averaged around 2 to 3 weeks, so hopefully this week, absolutely next week, thank you

do you know when she made the inquiry?  My congressman did the same thing but I have yet to hear anything at all... 5 weeks later.

My mother wrote her congressperson around April 18, and I received that email on May 6. I'll follow up with her if I haven't heard from USCIS by the 20th...

Okay, guys. Here's the data for today. My computer kept screwing up and I had to run it three times total to get all the data, but here it is. Also, I thought yesterday that I was seeing the beginnings of a lot more RFEs on 5/9, but today I see that I read it wrong, and there were only 12 total RFEs on 5/9. The rest were apparently RFEs being received, not sent. So I'm sorry about that. All of the data posted yesterday for 5/8 was accurate, though, and the info below is accurate.

Here's the data as of 5/10/2017 at 1715:

https://docs.google.com/spreadsheets/d/1ywlU8xKlHUkSbc1susafogpLC4L2q3b4CvQx_d38SzU/edit?usp=sharing

December Cases Untouched as of 5/10/2017 at 1715: 275

Total Cases Touched on 5/9: 56
Approvals: 1
RFEs: 12
Other: 43

So slowing down a little bit from yesterday's scan, but still better than last week. 5/10's data looks like it's going to be slower, but I'll let you know total numbers tomorrow.

Here's wishing everyone a great middle of the week.

I'm in the Philippines I don't need packet 3. We just schedule our interview online. We're a bit different.

Congratulations! January filer here, my fiancee is from the Phils as well. May we ask the step by step you took after you received your approval from USCIS?  We are still waiting for the NOA2.  Thank you

Hi everyone.! Roger  and grace I feel for you. After the RFE it's supposed to be a fast track to approval since they had already checked out everything. Once you new evidence is received it should be a slam dunk! Hopefully it will be this week! Sending prayers and hugs. Oh yeah I called earlier this afternoon and got cutoff about five times. last time a nice guy named Jack answered. He asked the right questions for which I had the right answers abs my new best friend Jack told me that NVC had received our application and I got a case number and an invoice number !!!! So very happy as I type this. We were approved for our NOA2 on April 24, 2017. Nvc got the case May 10 , 2017. Wishing that the rest of you get the answers you need very soon! God Bless everyone!

Ya, I called NVC everyday and eventually got the case number. Oddly enough NVC received it, but no case number, I called back that evening and they had it.

She has her medical tomorrow, so fingers crossed!
