Yes, here is the most recent data as of today, 5/9/3017 at 1930 hours. I was extremely busy today and the internet here was very slow, but it's done. I will be doing it every day, though, so don't worry. Another scan will be done tomorrow and every day.

December Cases Untouched as of 5/9/2017 at 1200: 276

Cases Touched on 5/8: 58
Approvals: 10
RFEs: 6

Other: 42

Because my internet was so slow and the scan didn't finish until late, I can speak to some of today's data and say that there has been some action so far today, as well, with one approval and maybe a couple dozen RFEs. I'll post today's full data tomorrow when the rest has come in.

So, all in all, the news is better today and yesterday than last week. I hope you guys are all having a great week so far, and that everything is moving along really well with your visas. To everyone who is having to wait longer, hang in there. I'm in the same boat; We're in this together.

Thank you so much for doing these!!!

You are so welcome! :) The wait is so hard, and I hope these scans can help a little bit, somehow.

Hi all...first time posting. Just chiming in to say I'm another yet-to-hear-anything CSC December filer:

12-17-2016 mailed

12-21-2016 received

01-02-2017 NOA1

No RFE, no nothing.

My mother contacted her senator, and their office has made an enquiry on my behalf, with the following result:

"Just wanted to let you know that I spoke to USCIS and your case is with an officer.  I asked that they send the officer a note that there is congressional interest on the case.  I have it on my calendar to follow-up in about 2 weeks, but do let me know if you hear anything in the meantime.  Take care."

My dumb question: where does the information from the scans come from? How do we have access to all of those case numbers?

Thanks all for keeping me feeling way less alone during this process....

They received my RFE response on 4/26, nothing yet, how about you?

Filed Dec/6th and got an RFE and the received it by the 17th of april. Called and the tier 2 agent said they have 60 days to respond from when they received the RFE to make a decision. Very frustrating and there is no accountability on their part.

Well thank you, at least i know the worst case is 60 days, but you would think they would like to take  5 minutes to look at the response, and approve the 129 if it looks ok, and have one quickly out of the way. But looking for efficiency from the government is a futile waste of time! Thank you

Yes, as @dbirdflyshi correctly said - the scans are pulled from the USCIS website using the case tracker. Someone much more savvy than me has created a code that allows for multiple cases to be checked in rapid succession, resulting in the daily data.

Now, I'm sure USCIS didn't intend for the case tracker to be used in bulk like that, but the information that is obtained is public domain. If you wanted to enter the case numbers manually one at a time and spend hours on it every day, nobody could stop you. The scan just speeds this up. It's similar to what you can do on the USCIS app - this hasn't been developed by USCIS themselves, but they clearly don't have any issue with it being in circulation or I'm sure they would have issues a cease and desist order long ago. The point is - using the data as evidence won't harm you, as it isn't confidential information. If you had to enter your case number and a password to get an update, then sure - a big list of numbers being scanned would be a hard 'no'. But as it currently stands, the data is out there for whoever wants to take the time to gather it.

Best of luck to you - your wait has been so long and I hope you get some resolution soon.

Hello All,

Just thought I would share my journey since I too am a December filer :D applying for my Fiance in Macedonia. I was hoping to see if some one else got a RFE request and is still waiting.

Filed I129-F: December 20th 2016

I129-F Received: December 27th 2016

My Notice Date: January 6th 2017

- waited 4 months .... crickets -

Received Request for Evidence: April 20th 2017 (notice date aka when they sent it April 14th 2017, with an Alien Number)

Sent RFE express received and notified: April 24th 2017 (they wanted us to send two passport photos of each of us taken in the past 30 days)

Right now I'm still waiting for the response to the RFE its been 2 weeks exactly on to the third week. Did anyone else receive a RFE around the same time frame and hear back already?

happy to answer any questions about my case :jest:

We are very close in all timing, they received my RFE back on 26th, and nothing yet, someone caled and said they have 60 days to respond, but I looked at timelines and the normal is 2 to 3 weeks, so hopefully this week, definitely next week, These are torturous times for sure!!

I completely agree with @mrmrsVang

PH fiance(e)s only: I just did my medical last Monday and I got there at 4am. I was already lucky #22. Finished it all in Day 1, and the nurse who did my vaccines told me in secrecy that they're allowing the first 30 early-birds to be done in a single day only, if results came out just fine. He hurt both of my arms, so I'm not sure how much I'd trust the guy. Lol ;)

Wow 😂 no wonder I finished my medical exam in just one day. I was #1 that day 😂😂😂

An RFE is a "Request for Further Evidence." It's sent out when the petitioner has forgotten to include something, like a particular document, or accidentally didn't check a box or sign something, or if the USCIS otherwise has a question about the case, such as the validity of the relationship. This gives you the opportunity to respond and give the answer to that question, and to provide other evidence as well that you might not have included last time (even new evidence that might not have existed before, like new photos of you).
