I guess I can do just one more for old time's sake. ;) But I don't have or use the same format of a script, so I'll try to keep the results simple and they may not exactly match her numbers at face value.

looking advice :)

once my fiancee fills out her i-134 affidavit form can see print it off and then sign it...to them scan it back into the computer to email me to print off. Or does she need to sign and post it to me?

Also all other requirements for evidence can just be scanned to me by email yeah?

Thanks :)

The affidavit of support has to have original signature. What your fiancee can do is sign the signature page and send only that 1 piece of paper to you via snail mail. The rest can be scanned. This way, it will be cheaper.

Hi everybody! Now that my NAO2 arrived, we are looking into the I-134 form. My fiancé has not enough income, so we will need his mother to co-sponsor. His father could be a better co-sponsor, but he is worried about his job on the air force, as he thinks that sponsoring a foreign can affect his clearance. I don't know how much my future mother-in-law makes right now, but she has no one dependent on her, so her household would be her and me, the beneficiary?

As long as your fiance's income + mother income meets the minimum income requirement for your household size then it should be fine.

It looks like your household size is 3: you, fiance, and mother in law.

No hadn't noticed anything with boxes to check as I was emailed the packet 3. But maybe it is something that is sent or given once they receive paperwork from beneficiary is my guess.

Hi Brandon y Nadia,

How's your progress?

we just did the express police certificate today without appointment. But I'm assuming it's quite similar with appointment. The beneficiary has to go in there and present a form filled during the online appointment process, and then pay a fee (we paid the faster 1 hour service). After that, they will gather the fingerprints and then the beneficiary has to specify that the police certificate needs to have a clause saying with exception to article 51 in penal codes. Then afterwards, it can be accessed online and printed. Fairly simple.

As with check boxes, I talked to an attorney, and they told me it's due to mismatching instructions from the old days. They recommend that I just make a cover letter with boxes and manually check everything I present in the package for submission.

Now we are all set to have the first visit to medical on the 9th of May. Hopefully we can submit by 12th.

good luck

So disappointing...I hope the CSC works really hard the rest of the week to make up for this haha

The 'other' number seems very high. Is that things like RFE documents received by the CSC? Thanks for doing this scan. :)

Hi there! Sorry, I just realized i never answered your question. The "Others' (having a Lost flashback now) are comprised of things like the USCIS receiving petitioners' responses to RFEs, somebody submitting updates or name changes to their case, USCIS mailing or transferring authority of the case to another agency, and notices of decisions about a case being mailed, among others. Often many "Other" things are done in one day and very little else, and other days only a few "Others" are added versus many approvals and RFEs. Perhaps it has something to do with who is working that day, or a bunch of a certain type of case were sent to another department for a different sort of action, or maybe they just decided to focus on different issues (processing received updates, or something) on that particular day. But this is all really all just speculation on my part. The real answer is essentially, "Who the hell knows?"

Did anyone from December filers get approved yesterday? I haven't seen any approvals since Monday?

I don't think any approvals have gone out at all in the past few days. :(

Seems a bit strange that they are processing RFEs though, so I'm wondering if the system that sends out the approvals is down or being worked on. Maybe this means we will get tons of approvals tonight that have been stuck in the system over the past few days, but that is me just trying to spin things in a positive light haha

That is was i am hoping @RJandHamid, since RFEs are updated in their system at any point during the day as they input them, there HAS to be something wrong if there have been 0 approvals in the past 2 days.

Btw, I forgot to mention that I called USCIS on Friday and asked to speak to a tier 2 officer. Eventually a very nice man called me back and was able to tell me that they opened our file on April 26th and that we should be hearing something soon. Really praying for an approval this week. We will be at 5 months, 150 days + by next week Tuesday :(:( We already postponed our wedding, we were hoping to do it this month in May.

I hope so, i hate to sound bitter but to see others who have NOA1 after us already with a visa in hand is breaking me :( I am so happy for everyone else but it has been so demoralizing.

Yes I understand it is very frustrating. I feel happy for them, but I really wish we would see some movement on older cases like ours and also the patient November filers that are still waiting. It's kind of scary to think that our cases are just sitting around lost somewhere, although now that you have confirmation that your case is probably being looked at, that makes things a little better I hope.

Hm I'd probably put the place where I'd be staying. Usually they want the addresses to match up I'd think. I guess as long as you're honest it wouldn't be an issue.

I wouldn't risk even trying it though, I'm overly paranoid lol.

Same here lol Paranoid much
