Sure it was for something simple. Mine was for not checking of the box that I have not committed murder, sexual assault etc.

Ours was updated pics of us both, and a letter from her.  We got it done her right away and me one day turn around.  I sent it  certified mail they will get it today  May 1, 2017

Good luck and speedy process to the both of you. From what ive read once the NO2 is issued the process speeds up pretty quickly. Im hoping once we get the approval the interview date will be within 2 months. Keeping finger crossed and good luck.

We also got an RFE notice last 26 April and we have yet to receive it in the mail, thus, we have no idea what the RFE is about so far. There could be many reasons but we also met in OkCupid so it could also be that. We'll see.

If she had to sign a consent form for you to get her personal information, then you will need a copy of that form, thank you

How did you know the date of receipt? We just called them today and got lucky that our case number is already ready. I checked the status still "at NVC and to follow the 6steps" do you have any idea about the 6 steps?

You can track it with your case number on CEAC. Just Google it it should pop up. ☺️

126 Days and still waiting for the NOA2,  Is anybody else from December 27th. Waiting too?

Very frustrating ...:( !!!

There are still a decent amount of filers from early, mid and late December still waiting for NOA2. There haven't been any case scans posted lately, which I kind of think is maybe a bit of a good thing, so that we don't stress ourselves out comparing individual cases to the many others. I hope you hear some positive news soon, the wait certainly is very frustrating.

No clue about the six steps. Never heard of that. I only know when they received the case because when I called NVC, the guy who answered said that they just received it that day but no case number was assigned.

Don't worry, I don't think it's your fault, or that your case is too dense. Our case was received on December 6 / NOA1 on December 9 and we still haven't heard anything either. As far as I can tell, the case hasn't even been touched, and we're a pretty basic, clear-cut case with no complications. It IS so very, very frustrating though. I completely agree...For us, we're sitting back waiting on that "outside normal processing time" mark to pass and getting ready to start putting pressure from whatever direction we can.

Kuben&Tiffany, thank you so much for your kind response. I'm so sorry that you and you guys are having to wait so long. I think the plan of "putting pressure" when that date passes is a good one. I've heard from some people that contacting senators has done nothing for them, but others say it has seemed to help substantially. That's what I'll be doing, too. Although I actually hear that it * still help even before the "normal processing time" has technically passed, so maybe you could even try contacting your senators before then. We wish you guys good news very, very soon!

We were in the same boat they received our case on December 6th and then an RFE on April 8th and then received notice on the April 17th and as of today no NO2 . I feel your frustration.  Paranoia was starting to seep in about no notifications. I personally decided to not look at the forum as much as I was since it was causing me more anxiety than anything ie. seeing people way after me already at their interview!!!! crazy stuff. Just hang in there,

Gtiorobertsf, I feel for you. The anxiety over this wait can get tough. Please take care of yourself and hang tight with your fiance and let's all keep updating each other about our cases! We wish you a positive response about your RFE as soon as possible!

Just hang in there! My time was around the same. Just be patient, I know it's hard but it'll be worth it!

Your case not being touched could be anything from yours is complicated somehow to you got put on the bottom of a stack of papers. Don't sweat it too much.

Thank you very much for your input and words of encouragement! It is really appreciated. I'm happy for you that your own process has been progressing more quickly! Best of luck to you and your fiance during the rest of the process!

Speaking of this ... if it stresses people out maybe this is a bad idea, but if people here want, and if someone will show me how, I would be willing to learn to do those scans and post them for a while. Does anyone know how long that takes each time and what it entails?

I could be wrong, but I think @geowrian created the program that runs the scans, so maybe he would be willing to share the script with you. There was another user doing scans for December for awhile, but she went on vacation to visit her fiance and hasn't updated us in awhile, but hey I can't blame her much for wanted to spend time with her fiance. :)
