nice. he's going to try to do the 24 hour express police report today or tomorrow. is your fiancee's May 16th medical the first visit? she will then need to wait for the results and go for a second visit to acquire the doctor's sealed envelope another day from what I understood. If so, this whole thing can get dragged till pretty late in May.

We called doctor Kelly, as Dra. Grillo was responding any phone calls. Kelly is available 9th of May.

I think my fiance has to drop all packet 3 document copies (as instructed by the email) to the embassy address instead of mailing, and then hopefully the embassy will email him/us for an interview day. I hope this correct

From what I understand she will have the sealed envelope same day and she will take that along with items needed in packet 3 and give to consulate and get interview date. Not sure if they give it to you on the spot but think it is 10-15 days after your turn in packet with medical.

So, about our RFE.  (2 things)

1) Pics - "Passport Style"  from both of us. (They gave exact instructions.) Done , check!

2) Letter from Grace saying she [plans to "Marry me with 90 days" of her coming to the USA. Done, Check

(Make a copy of the instructions and what was asked for returned.)

Mailed back today, certified mail to track it.

OK....

Anyone who knows Philippine culture concerning taking pictures, (They are the highest country in the world using Facebook and sharing their lives, its like over 90% in pics.)  Anyhow, you should laugh at yourself(s) when you submit the "Passport Style Pictures."

Now understand Grace laughs and smiles like 24/7. Our submitted "serious" picture, no teeth showing, and her long hair pulled back with her ears showing too... It is hilarious!!!!  Of course after I had my own pic done, mine is pretty crazy as well.  I'd post it here, but she would KILL me. hahahahaha   Its like she is in a police line up! (Yes, I am ducking after I said that publicly here, but it's true!!)  hahahahahaha

As far as her letter, what she wrote was just amazing!!!  Grace, in her words of love, missing me, and wishing to marry me within 90 days of getting here, with such gratitude that we met, and are a great match, and she is looking forward to being together for the rest of our lives.

OK, I am a guy, fiance', future husband... I feel so humbled, filled with love, yes even "grace by God,"  to be so blessed! Just how awesome it is that we found that special someone half way round the world .  (Thanks God,  I know I said I would go anywhere you lead me, from here in Fishers, Indiana, USA ... I just had no idea she would be half way round the world... hahahahaha)    Anywhooo ... I am going to make a copy of it!  Heck, I might even frame it to put in our house.  It literally made me happy, proud, and full of love, as perhaps the most romantic thing to read these eyes have ever seen.

I Love you Grace, I can't wait till your here...   And Grace, don't worry. I will not post our "Passport Style Pics!"

I am sure many of you have stories like ours as well. please feel free to share here!

Can anyone tell me what the USCIS Processing Time Information page means by "Processing Cases As Of Date"? The date they list for K-1 is November 15. Thanks.

It means they are processing cases received after November 15. If your case was received before that day, you can call and inquiry about the status of your case if you have not yet received NOA2. If your case was received after November 15, it means you are still within the normal processing time.

If you are going through the visa process and will be interviewing in Casablanca, Morocco, join us over at the

I can totally relate to that. I'm Filipina and I agree, Filipinos love taking photos. And serious photos is really not my kind of thing because of the "mugshot look" and I think I really look ugly when I'm not smiling, hahaha! But well, no choice for passport photos.

Another question regarding the letter of intent to marry for my interview:

is it necessary to put the address of the Foriegn fiancé's US embassy address on the letter of intent to marry for the beneficiary's interview ????

I am having the same issue.  It seems like its been down all morning.  Hopefully it comes back up soon!

I did put the foreign fiancé's US Embassy address on my updated letter of intent.  I am not sure if this is correct or not but it made sense to me to address it to them.

My opinion

I think you should put the address of your fiancé embassy / consulate because they are the ones who your currently dealing with and who's making that final decision, so it's basically it's a reassurance to them that you and your fiancé will be married within 90 days of his/her arrival within the United States.

Does anyone know how that date usually compares to the Visa Journey "Timeline Date"?

The VJ timeline is based off data that forum members input, so while it is a good guide to when you might receive the next notice, the dates are not always very accurate.

Ya it's generally a pretty good guideline. However, every case is unique and some people end up waiting a lot longer.

On a side note any December Filers get their NVC number yet? I got my approval April 17th, so still waiting for NVC to receive my stuff.

We filed on Dec 21 and got our NOA2 on April 4.  We got our NVC case number on April 24 and it changed to "ready" today.  We got our medical scheduled for May 22 and interview scheduled for June 1.  Things have been moving so much faster since the case left USCIS!  Good luck to you guys.  Start calling on Monday to see if they have your case number :)
