Hello everyone.

we are now preparing for the affidavit of support, now my question is on how to count the household size?

my fiance is living with his parents.

should we count them to so it woll be total of 4 including me the beneficiary?

thank you in advance!

I would just exclude parents, he lives with them but have his own life and finances having his own apartment in their house.Of course if he has enough income to sponsor you ! If not, will need sponsor , than parents come handy , some country embassy's dos not accept sponsors . So find out about that. Make thing simple your case will go fester.

His mom is still working and his dad is not working but is receiving his pension.

And as per the dependents under his income they are not under it.

So I guess it should be counted as 2 only?

If his tax return is one , so one! . Any way have him watch some YouTube videos about the whole process . it help me a lot .

Received my NVC letter in the mail today !

Good luck to everyone who's still awaiting approvals and NVC case numbers !

Great news!

I'll definitely be following your progress through the next few steps as I will be dealing with the embassy in Bridgetown as well.

We keep being told we are within normal processing time.

Same here. I remember someone sent an email to USCIS before and I think he got more info than "within normal processing time" response but something like it's still under security check or something, I'm not so sure. I just don't know what email addressed he sent it to. 138 days for us too. 😔

Thank you, i hope it's approved soon. This waiting game is really frustrating. I keep checking the app time to time.

we are planning to get married on July 22, so i hope we can finish this process before then.

If you met online , include info about website that you met , make sure is free site or one that both of you paid same amount for it , It seams to be lots of RFE ( request for evidence ) because of that ,

You don't need a description of the website. However, the terms of use definitely! Because they may say it falls under IMBRA even if it doesn't technically.

I met my fiance online sent the terms of use (it was like 15 pages or something) and got approved no RFE'S.
