Finally, after 122 days, we are approved!!! We are so happy!!!!!

Now, as the beneficiary, I should only worry about having all the vaccines required, the medical exam and the criminal record in hands, right? And my fiance, the affidavit of support, right? Am I missing something here? And finally the interview... I can't wait for it!

Yes, they will send your paper work to NVC , NVC will send it to your embassy .With out any delays it should take little more than two weeks ,you should see your status ready in your embassy in about 3 weeks . All notifications are coming with 2-3 weeks delay.but you can find out about your status on line.   ( from our experience)

I would check Brazil consulate website or another Brazilian for more information as we also are required to provide a resume and non-married certificate in China as an example.

April 22, 2020 - I-751 sent

April 23, 2020 - I-751 received at Lockbox

April 29, 2020 - Check cashed
??? - didn’t receive text or email confirmation. Ugh!

Congrats!! It is such a relief!! In the Philippines you also need a Cenomar, a certificate of no marriage along with the police clearances and affidavit of support.

Hello everybody,

My fiancé and I are just starting applying for the Fiancé visa and even if i'm excited, i'm so stressed out!

I would like some help to make sure I'm not forgetting anything on the first step. I have a file with all the steps for the first package. Does it look okay for you or did I forget something?

1. Form I-129F: cover letter, declaration of how you met in person in the last two years, fiancé letter of Intent, proofs of having met in past two years
2. Form G-325a: one passeport photo + copy or the Birth certificate
3. G-1145

Thank you so much and good luck to everyone!

It depends on the number of dependants basically on your fiances income.

If petitioner's parents are not earning but living with him, then the household will be 4 including you.

Still check with more applicants in similar situation.

His mom is still working and his dad is not working but is receiving his pension.

And as per the dependents under his income they are not under it.

So I guess it should be counted as 2 only?

@AkesAngel hey I believe you are with you fiancée at the moment so I apologise for disturbing!

I was curious with you doing the December scans, if you had noticed an average trend for RFE received back at uscis to then being approved. I think it was around 7-14 days, but just seeing if it had moved a little.

thanks in advance :)

The reason you're not getting responses is because this is the December filer's thread. It's for people who submitted their entire packet all the way back in December and need a place to discuss the ongoing wait and process. So this is not really the place for this question. If you post this as its own thread on the main K1 board you'll get more responses.

Since nobody has responded I'll respond quickly. Below I've pasted a list of things you need. I'm not sure if you have more than what you posted here, but based on what you wrote here it's not enough. You need two fiance letters of intent (one for each, you and fiance) and two G-325a forms (one for each, you and fiance) and sets of passport photos (one set for each, you and fiance), AND (NOT OR) petitioner birth certificate, divorce certs for you and fiance as applicable, and exact filing fee. All docs must be signed and dated. And you didn't state where fiance is from, but if they have documents that are not originally in English they must be translated fully and be accompanied by a signed and dated certificate of translation (for each one). You must be extremely careful on this collecting and assembling step because it can waste a lot of time if you leave things out.

http://www.visajourney.com/content/k1guide:

Forms Needed to File for a K-1 Fiance Visa:

1. I-129F
2. G-325a

3. G-1145 (optional)

The above forms can be filled out on your computer and printed. Make sure you sign and date them as required. Anything you cannot fit by typing, you can handwrite (very neatly) in black ink in the blank instead. You should always verify the current forms at www.uscis.gov.

Assembling the I-129F Package: Checklist   frequent questions
Forms and Documents (follow these assembly instructions. All supporting documents must be in English or be translated as noted here.)
:

1. Payment as required by USCIS. Use a personal check so you can track the payment. Money Orders are also accepted. Read the Guide to Paying USCIS Immigration Fees.
2. Cover Letter (see example). Should include a description of what your are petitioning for (I-129F), a table of contents (list everything in the packet). If you need additional room to explain your case, attach a separate sheet (list the attachment on the cover sheet). Make sure to sign and date the cover sheet.
3. Form I-129F: Petition for Alien Fiance (see example)
4. Declaration of how you met in person in the last two years. This should be a single typed page attachment regarding question '34.a' of the I-129F. Make sure to sign and date it.
5. Original statements (from both the US Citizen and foreign fiance) certifying an intent to marry within 90 days of entering the US on a valid K-1. (see example)
6. Proof of having met in past two years. (click here for examples)
7. G-325A filled out by the US Citizen with their information, signed and dated (see example).
8. One passport-type photo (see specification) of the US Citizen. Write the full name of the US citizen on the back. Place in a plastic bag and label the bag "Photo of <Insert US Citizen's Name>". Attach the bag to a sheet of paper and place behind the corresponding G-325a.
9. G-325A filled out by the foreign fiance with their information, signed and dated (see example).
10. One passport-type photo (see specification) of the foreign fiance. Write the full name of the foreign fiance on the back. Place in a plastic bag and label the bag "Photo of (insert foreign fiance name) ". Attach the bag to a sheet of paper and place behind the corresponding G-325a.
11. Copy of the Birth certificate (front and back) for the US Citizen or a copy of ALL pages of the US Citizen's passport issued with a validity of at least 5 years or a copy of the US Citizen's naturalization certificate (front and back). This is used to establish citizenship.
12. Copy of final Divorce Decree(s) or Certificate(s) for the US Citizen and/or foreign fiance if either has been previously married. If the previous marriage of the US Citizen and/or foreign fiance ended due to the death of their spouse then include a Copy of Death Certificate(s) documenting that fact.
13. Proof of Legal Name Change if either the US Citizen and/or foreign fiance is using a name other than that shown on the relevant documents. You must give USCIS copies of the legal documents that made the change, such as a marriage certificate, adoption decree or court order.
14. In regards to Section C Question 2, if applicable provide certified copies of all court and police records showing the charges and dispositions for any specified conviction(s) (in accordance with the IMBRA). See section 9 of the I-129f instructions for more information.

If his parents are not dependent under his name in his tax returns then your household counts 2 the petitioner and the beneficiary.

If you met online , include info about website that you met , make sure is free site or one that both of you paid same amount for it , It seams to be lots of RFE ( request for evidence ) because of that , need pictures about 7-8 no more than 12 , all forms needs original signature not photocopy . Copy of plane boarding passes, copy of sponsors entry stamps in passport (make sure passport number is visible, needs to bend page because on us passport that is not visible when you open it on entry stamps page. Not sure what G1145 is ? needs also your letter of intent ,his original signature on his and yours . Hotel receipt I have both names on it with hotel clerk signature on it to her and mine signature also  .   Look on YouTube lot of videos about what you may need ,Very helpful!!  . Any personal love story is not necessary it  just makes it look unprofessional . I wrote " We met on free  Skout dating site and I visit her few months ago and stayed in every day contact since than " And that did it ! Don't forget to send proper fee and sign all forms . With G form need I think 2 pictures sign on back in pencil + date of birth put in plastic bag and attach to form . Check everything for few days over and over again before sending it .  Good luck. You will be together in 6 months or so . Lot of patience !
