Statements like this should give anyone that voted for Trump reason to think about the silliness we are in store for. Loss of citizenship? Just how does that work exactly?

This is my exact question. Here on VJ we analyze quite a bit about how to pursue and acquire US citizenship, but how is it revoked? What happens? What's the timeline like?

One thing that's becoming evident is that the next 4 years will be a lot like the last 1.5 years, but instead of dealing with Trump the candidate saying something weird and new, every day, we now get Trump the President saying these daily weird things with the power to put some or all of them into action.

We will send all of the flag haters to Canada , they can put them up with their luxurious, socialist refugee programs. This will be baked into the NAFTA renogotiations , they take our scum and return our jobs.

The butt hurt is still real.

How much novacane did the Trump campaign administer? I should think it would be wearing off by now and you should be experiencing the discomfort by now.

On the subject at hand, will Trump dispense with formal Executive Orders, force all Americans to follow him on twitter, and respect every nut-job tweet as a Royal Decree?

I suspect he is just trying to get the crazies to self-deport. Good move IMO

Citizens can't self deport. People who can self-deport are not citizens. I hope he's not that confused.

I think what actually happened is the base is getting a little restless watching him drain the swamp just to fill it back up with swamp water. Rhetoric won't work forever, but he's still getting good mileage for now.

Self-deport, run, flee, cry all day, wail around on the floor……you name it.

So much salt.:rofl: We do we put it all?

Pretty sure I know where you keep it. Myself I prefer salt shakers, but to each his own.

"You can fool all the people some of the time, and some of the people all the time, but you cannot fool all the people all the time. "Abraham Lincoln

Some of Abraham Lincoln's quotes seem almost prescient.

“I see in the near future a crisis approaching that unnerves me and causes me to tremble for the safety of my country. . . . corporations have been enthroned and an era of corruption in high places will follow, and the money power of the country will endeavor to prolong its reign by working upon the prejudices of the people until all wealth is aggregated in a few hands and the Republic is destroyed.”

– Abraham Lincoln, Nov. 21, 1864
