I knew my fiancee in November 2015 right after 1 month since she started filing divorce paperwork with her ex husband, she got the finally divorced in mai 31 2016,i saw that having a relationship with ur fiancee before she's legally divorced is a common big red flag,we actually met in july and i proposed in august, and im 1 week away from my visa interview,so my question is,are the counselors gonna understand that divorce processing takes a long time ? And is knowing my fiancee in that period of time is gonna be a red flag that gonna cause me a denial ??

Thanks for any help

On its own, it's not such a big problem. But, when you add that you have known each other for a reasonably short time, you are from a country known for high fraud risk, have only met in person once (?), and you proposed shortly after meeting. It adds up. Are there other causes for concern (age difference, different religions, previous visa applications)?

If it isn't difficult, it isn't worth it.

Well, you should bring lots of proof of all your meetings and communication. I'm assuming you sent a lot of evidence like that with your initial application also (called front-loading)? Did she sponsor her ex-husband for a visa, or get sponsored herself?

If it isn't difficult, it isn't worth it.

Alright. That's all you can do. If she can squeeze in another visit before your interview, or even be present for the interview - that would be the icing on the cake.

If it isn't difficult, it isn't worth it.

No she can't come here again, she already left on August 25th,but i have one other question,if my case was a problem and had a red flag, shouldn't it be denied since it was at the uscis ?

No, that's not how it works.

USCIS only checks that the formal requirements for the petition are fulfilled (that the petitioner is an un-married USC etc). It is the consulate (with better knowledge of local law, culture and traditions) that adjudicates the visa application and makes an assessment of the bona fide nature of the relationship between the petitioner and beneficiary.

If it isn't difficult, it isn't worth it.

Worrying won't help anything. Bring as much evidence as you can get. Also, be prepared to answer questions about your fiancés previous marriage/husband.

If it isn't difficult, it isn't worth it.

I started dating my now wife after she had separated from her husband, but before her divorce. There was a legal wait (needed one year separation to file for divorce). I'd think many people start dating again before they are formally divorced, I don't see why it should be an issue.
