Believing Trump had no chance of winning and then being wrong was a failure on predicting how the American people would act (how many people would vote and for whom).

Believing Trump will be a poor President is specifically about Trump and his abilities.

We were wrong that he had no chance of winning. Doesn't necessarily mean we are wrong about Trump, just that we didn't predict the majority of America wouldn't bother coming and those that did would support him sufficiently. Jury is still out with how he does as President.

Completely agree. Election day didn't prove I was wrong about Trump, just proved I was wrong about the American People. I don't know if I'm going to be wrong or not about Trump for another year, maybe two (or ultimately 4).

Yes, they can withhold funds. Just like here in Texas is one reason we have seatbelts laws, if we didn't the Feds were going to withhold highway funds. As I said once you start withholding money, then things start happening.

You can only be fined for it if they pulled you over and fined you over something else, but you do not get pulled over simply for not wearing your seatbelt.

Although I got pulled over once for speeding and actually didn't have my seatbelt on and they didn't even fine me for it then.

clearly you don't follow..idc if he gets his way and this goes federal, if cities/colleges/churches decide to provide sanctuary they will. now what the federal government chooses to do with this sort of peaceful resistance, i guess we will find out.

what trump is going to benefit from these next for years is literally everything in comparison to the potus salary, so i guess i'm just not impressed at trump not taking a paycheck. feels like he's doing so just so he can say he was our president for free, just because he cares. maybe you buy it, i don't.

i come from folks who consider a paycheck something you earn, not something you take. 'making' 990k a day is a tad silly imo, but whatever my personal morals don't mesh with the rich pigs.
