Is this normal when I check status online?

Hi,

This is my first post ever forgive me for any formatting errors.

I know the process to ROC is supposed to take about a year. I filed in July, did my bio metrics 8-25-2016, I have my 1 year extension and then I have heard nothing.

I have been checking the mail religiously and check on my case online every few weeks. This is all that it is says-it does't acknowledge that I did in fact submit biometrics. Should I call them or is this normal

"On July 25, 2016, we received your Form CRI-89, Petition to Remove Conditions of Permanent Resident Status Received, Receipt Number XXXXXXXXXXXX, and sent you the receipt notice that describes how we will process your case. Please follow the instructions in the notice. If you do not receive your receipt notice by August 24, 2016, please call Customer Service at 1-800-375-5283. If you move, go to www.uscis.gov/addresschange to give us your new mailing address."

Should there be any sort of other information available? I guess I'm just worried because there is no acknowledgment that they received my metrics.

Normal unfortunately. We filed in June and ours looks the same. Most people's status stay this way until they are approved.

Ok! Weird, the first time around It let us know that it had received the information at least. I was feeling hopeful because I feel like my appointment came pretty quick within a month, most other July filers didn't get bio-appts until October. I guess this new presidency just has me thinking the system is going to crash or something.

Those of us who filed at the Vermont Service Center will not hear ANYTHING until at least 10-11 months have passed. Many people are now submitting the N-400 paperwork before they hear back from the I-751 paperwork.
