Hi you all. I finally recieved my bio metric exam letter this past friday. I just want to thank all those who were generous enough to help me out with my questions and all the information they provided in the past. It is a little overdue since I mailed everything back in August of 2005 but it has now finally arrived. My appt. is set on April 1 9am in Charlotte, North Carolina (weird because congress told me it would be held in Nashville and the 1st is a saturday and it is april fools so I am hoping this ain't some stupid april fools joke, but it is a legit gov't document) Is there anything I really need to prepare for, anyone with experience and I don't need to pay for anything do i?? And is there stuff maybe i should take jsut in case?? I was thinknig of taking my marriage certifcate because my new last name doesn't match my dr. lic # yet and such. Praise God for his answers to my prayers and for all of you and all your help.

Take your appointment letter, your marriage certificate, and any other photo ID you may have (I took my passport, and I had my EAD at that time). You have already paid the fees, so no worries about that.

The only thing that seems a little weird is that you have to go to Charlotte -- is it a district office or an Application Support Centre? I had my AOS biometrics done in an ASC in another state, so that isn't too out of the ordinary.

Congrats on the appointment! :)
