I think the abuse of grammar is far worse than the abuse of commas.

Yes, although I was not actually trying to point out a grammatical or punctuation mistake to make fun of him. I don't actually care about that. Analyzing his style of writing is more interesting to me. It's uncommon, but it's not unique.

I was discussing the issue. I was contributing by clarifying that when someone takes a negative hypothesis, you have to offer up the evidence of proof to the contrary. You can't produce evidence of a negative. I felt that was "on topic".

Regardless I did not intend to come across quite so rude in my second post so I apologise. It's early on a Sunday and I'm at work, so I'm probably a little grumpy. Generally you've been fine here, there have just been other people who have used "you're new here" as some sort of excuse to ignore my point and just say that I'm wrong without providing any supporting evidence.

I had actually just worked an unexpected 12 hour shift overnight. Rereading my post now, I really didn't intend to come across as confrontational as I did, so I also apologize. If I was writing that now, I would have just said it was meant to be a joke. The rest of what I wrote reminds me why I don't usually come on after staying up all night.

There are a few of you who love to mention how long you've been here as if it should be a badge of honor. You realize I don't care that I'm new? A good discussion of an issue has nothing to do with how long people have been here. If anything it seems like the longer people have been around, the more likely the discussion will be weak, empty and full of insults.

Yes we can speculate. It doesn't really get us anywhere though and it's rather pointless. I like to deal in a little more than speculation.

I think all that he meant was that there are some private jokes that someone new might not realize, like the "link" thing that comes up from time to time. I'm actually impressed that you've made it through what, your first month here? You should wear that with a badge of honor, it's survival of the fittest. And yes, the reason the longer people have been around the more likely the discussion is weak and full of insults is because they've already said whatever can be said on most issues, all that's left is the insults! Welcome to CEHST! Survive two months and I think you may just last forever!

I've never met someone who was never wrong. I've met a few people who think they are never wrong. I don't ever have an issue with someone being wrong and admitting it. That includes myself.

It's the people who think they are never wrong that are frustrating.

Thanks. That is what I meant. Unfortunately it came out in a much more awkward way than I intended it to.

Donald Trumps brilliant response to the recount controversy? "Millions voted illegally!"

Freudian slip? Questioning the validity of the election he 'won?'

Dude is priceless!
