Hey everyone, I wanted to say that I really appreciate some of the feedback recently. I honesty have been pretty wound up with getting many of the new website features built and working that I think I have forgotten at times to focus on the human side of things. I just wanted to let you know that I will make sure to balance the two much better in the future. I know that often times I may seem distracted on things due to certain behin the scenes issues (We have had some server issues that affected speed but as I work them out something always pops up!).

That aside I am glad that some of our most trusted members have reminded me of the day to day goings on and how I may be able to help. To that end we are going to roll out some features for some members that will 'wild' threads to be identified earlier and locked down until I am able to review them. We may even have a very select few members that will moderate in a broader sense. My goal always has been to make this site home for each and every member and with your help we can continue that into the future :).

So if things have been good from your perspective I am very happy and I hope that things only get better :). If you were or have had any issues I want to promise you that I am here and will do everything I can to help! Again we have a few things brewing that I hope will elevate the sense of commmunity even higher.

Thank you for your membership and friendship to those I have met and become friends with here on the site.

Always,

Captain Ewok (the little furry dude!)

Captain Ewok,

We can never thank you enough for doing a wonderful job in keeping VJ. It's our pleasure to be a part of this growing community. It's been of great help with the whole visa processing and the likes. Here is where we met friends and here is where we were educated and learned a lot. Thank you, thank you! Even if we reached the end of this visa journey, we will remain a member to help out others who are about to begin their own life's journey.

More power to VISA JOURNEY!

David and Mae

Thank you, Captain (F)

If VJ wasn't so wonderful, most of us would'nt be so addicted to it. Indeed a powerful weapon in fighting the immigration giant, and I say God bless it !

May Captain Ewok forever wear the badge of distinction .

Don't just open your mouth and prove yourself a fool....put it in writing.

It gets harder the more you know. Because the more you find out, the uglier everything seems.

I would like to echo these sentiments entirely. It's easy in the rush of debate about site issues that we have had, to both imply that the Captain has not been effective or hard working (neither of which are the case) or that the site has fundamental problems which are not being addressed (which is also not the case).

Indeed, it is only BECAUSE the site has been so well managed and the Captain so responsive to our needs, that we actually have a community at all within which occasional issues are then bound to occur.

Whether here to find help or to give it, or just to mix with those who are similarly sea sick on the voyage, we all owe the Captain a debt of thanks for the hard work, and tolerance, that Visa Journey takes!

Capt...

I know it's in the Beta stage but the My Portal section is petty cool. Can't wait to see what else you come up with in developing that... Oh, I also like the cool little flag that shows up when you select the Non-US Citizen's country of origin.

You rock!!!
