It's not us you have to convince. It is the CO. And if the CO thinks it is a red flag, then it will be. They have the ability to deny based on that. They usually don't, but they can.

The AP could be for anything. All you can do is wait.

Well, not everyone is a push button phone freak. A lot of people don't care for excessive technology, especially when technology in our society seems more important than common sense or family values or morals. That's when it's even more of a turnoff.[/quote

I really don't know anybody that does not have a smartphone or tablet it doesn't mean they don't have common sense or family values or morals even my grandparents have a iPad lol.

My husband is my family so for me being able to stay in touch with him was very important this is my first and only international relationship and thankfully with all the evidence we had our application and his visa was approved in no time and now we're here in the states awaiting the birth of our first daughter, his parents first grandchild!!!! It's a lot easier to send pictures through whatsapp or video chat with them than snailmail to dr which probably wouldn't get to them anyways since we never received anything via snail mail from the embassy.

not everyone excepts the changing of technology process well but I really don't think that changes family morals and values at all like you said if anything it helps keep families far away closer but everyone has their own opinions

Well she is making a generalization and a negative one at that as she can't speak for all officers. So she needs to stop making assumptions.

Nope I'm just speaking facts. Has someone who has family in dhs I understand the training they go through which is all the same not having communication between you and "the love of your life" can hurt your petition

I agree with Jenni, beside that she's talking from the CO point of view how they think and look at things! however, if you are under AP from 2-4 weeks is normal.

if it took more than that, you start to contact the embassy and DOS if they didn't issue to your fiance 221g slip. if they did issued it keep praying that u don't stay long in this AP.

all the best for u guys

Thank you. I do have family that works for dhs so I'm not a complete moron plus my husband is with me so I did something right

The CO did not think it's a red flag, you missed what I was saying somewhere.

They just asked twice why we had no records of phone calls, but she didn't feel the interview went badly.

Simple copy and paste from your post

Really just telling a co you have communication won't help it's what you can prove to them and to many co not showing call records can hurt the visa if you are so in love then why don't you talk ?? But hey best of luck to you

If "you" think that its not a red flag then there is no need to worry. AP takes as long as it takes, you cant do much about it. Just wait for decision. Plz note that its not what you think about your application, its what IO thinks about your case. Good luck dude

Did you show proof of communication yes or no ?? Just because you say you did is not enough but yet I'm the one that doesn't understand right ??

At the end of the day I was trying to be helpful but I don't care you came at me all crazy but like I said I don't care I'm here in my wonderful country with my husband loving my life with him and are healthy daughter who will be here shortly.

Don't take your problems out on me buddy it's not my fault I didn't do everything necessary to prove a real relationship.

FYI even landlines(dinosaur phones) have call records so yes obviously the smart intelligent co thought you and your girlfriend were hiding something

Wow OP, you come across as being quite arrogant not only here but in your previous postings too. If you don't like the answers, perhaps you shouldn't ask the question.

Again you keep repeating yourself, and you are wrong this time.

Harvard

YOU  need to know 2 things.

It is you that needs to meet burden of proof of a relationship.

and the CO owes you nothing.

Now due to your lack of giving substencial relationship evidence you can remain in AP as long s the CO see's fit.

I suggest before further DYI you read the :guides:

or you will continue to mess up.
