You're welcome! What date did you get?

Jan 4th, did you book an appt as well? When i checked, there's only 4th and 25th available. My petition expires on the 14th, so the 4th is the perfect date for me

Hi, i have another question, sorry if i have too many concerns. I live in vancouver and will be flying to montreal for the interview. After the interview, let's say i got approved (fingers-crossed), will i be able to take my passport with me to fly back to vancouver? My passport is the only photo id i have. I don't have a driver's license either.

They normally keep it to put the visa in. You can take it back if you want but you'll have to then mail it back to the consulate to get the visa inserted.

Why do you have no other photo id?

I don't have drivers license and my carecard don't have photo in it. I'm on work permit here in canada. I read on air canada's website that flights within canada at least needs two non photo govt id, i'm not sure if it applies to non citizen as well Edited by aee6119

There was provincial ID you could have obtained.

If you have to mail it back so you can fly back, then that's what you have to do I guess. Hopefully it won't delay the visa too long.
