Just an off question, do you think it would be ok do Medical on Monday and Tuesday , and Interview on Thursday? Or is that not enough time between medical and interview?

As far as I know they would like 1-2 weeks between medical and interview. Even says it through CEAC.

My partner tried to do that. Monday-Tuesday medical and Wednesday appointment. I made him reschedule the interview though.

Also, just incase, you never know how smoothly the medical might go. What if something came up during the process(Hoping not!!) but just saying.

Also, the embassy requires 72 notice if rescheduling. So if the medical didn't go smoothly, you might be out the interview fee and have to reschedule and pay again for another date.

Just some thoughts.

I'd advice to not schedule both so close to each other. Anything can happen during the medical. From forgotten documents to them finding something etc. But this is purely because I scheduled my medical -thankfully- 3 weeks before my interview and during my medical we found out I needed more proof of my TB treatment. That time overlapped getting all the documents ready and being ready for the interview.

Under normal circumstances, you should not have any problem completing the SLEC medical on Tuesday and interviewing on Thursday.

If SLEC tags you for sputum collection, the embassy will allow your interview to be delayed until you get a clean bill of health. The embassy doesn't charge you anything for that postponement.

If you had an annulment, or if you were a cutter, you will have to complete a psych evaluation which could screw up your scheduled interview. If this is the case, you could still go to your interview and plan on not getting approved until the embassy received your medical results.

When I booked my medical, I just gave them the date of my interview and they recommended to me the latest possible exam date to ensure the results would be available on time. My exam was on a Thursday and my interview was on the following Wednesday, I did not have any issues but then I knew I didn't have any of the medical things they were screening for and also made sure to bring everything they told me to bring.

Ohhhh gotcha. Well I would double check with them how long it takes to get the results back... as long as you can pick it up in time I don't think you will have any issues.

You are fine with that plan with limited exceptions. Use to be there needed to be 5-7 days between the medical and interview when SLEC was forwarding the medical file to USEM. Now (since 2014) the medical file is hand carried to USEM by you so no reason for the long wait.

Back when SLEC was sending the medical exam results to the U.S. Embassy Manila, the medical exam could be completed just two or three days before the interview and the results would be delivered to the embassy in time for the interview. The one-week recommendation was just a CYA tactic.

Also, some people completed their medical one day before the interview and were allowed to deliver their medical exam results to their interview. All they had to do is request it from SLEC. SLEC usually complied.

Keeping in mind Murphy's Law, 5-7 business days is what is recommended by USEM. It's outlined in the Embassy Letter of needed documents and procedures. If you don't have a copy get one here https://ph.usembassy.gov/wp-content/uploads/sites/82/2016/08/K1-and-K2-Applicant-Interview-Preparation-Instructions-08112016-English-336KB.pdf

This is a buyer beware sort of thing. Yes you can do it as you planned but if you are a little bit nervous, then schedule as recommended by USEM. Your mileage may vary.

That 5-7 day language between the medical and interview isn't in the instructions letter anymore. Lots of changes in the last couple years
