Does anyone have any advice that I can use about writing the letter about my relationship with my fiancé? This is the letter that is supposed to be submitted with the I-129F. I'm wondering how long it should be, how many details to include, etc. Any advice would be greatly appreciated (and if you have a letter to share, I'd love to read it to get an idea of how it should go). Thank you so much!!

We used an attachment which gave a simple outline of how and when we first met. When I visited him, and a brief one line explanation of "why" we waited so long to submit the petition. All in all it was about 12 sentences.

I've read a lot of people on here just keep it simple and to the point in 3-4 lines.

08/15/2014 : Met Online

06/30/2016 : I-129F Packet Sent

11/08/2016 : Interview - APPROVED!

11/23/2016 : POE - Dallas, Texas

From sending of I-129F petiton to POE - 146 days.

02/03/2017 - Married

02/24/2017 - AOS packet sent

06/01/2017 - EAD/AP Combo Card Received in mail

12/06/2017 - I-485 Approved

12/14/2017 - Green Card Received in mail - No Interview

For example, my husband wrote not even half a page of stating how, where and when we met. Starting with:

"On -date- I met my fiancee -name- on -website- as we both were moderators. Around -date- we started to talk through Skype and Whatsapp.. On -date- we seen each other in real life in -city- and we seen each other for a second time on -date-. I proposed to her on her third trip which was on -date-" He kept if fairly simple and short. Good luck!

I'm assuming this is for the 34.a question. You don't really need to do a relationship outline if you don't want too. It can help cases from high fraud countries, but it's not needed.

The 34.a question on the I-129F is just a how and when did you meet question.

I just put when we met online (June 2010) when we started dating (March 2013), where we physically met in person for the first time, where he stayed, and when (San Antonio Airport, Hotel, May 2013), and then the next 6 or 7 subsequent visits stating the dates and duration of the visits and that he stayed at my home.
