Amazon does it. Go in your account and "download order reports".

I find it very rare for prices on amazon to be higher, usually I would say on average we probably save 20-30% simply by ordering through amazon. For example we order this cat food for our cat: https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B00KS1AMUY/ref=oh_aui_detailpage_o02_s00?ie=UTF8&psc=1 if you go into a petco store here you pay over $50, not to mention the invonvenience. If you order it online right now it is on sale for $35 instead of $39 but once you factor shipping into it(which on amzn is free for us) then it comes out the same, but more when it's not on sale. So on that one it's about a 10-20% savings usually but some things are even more.

Also, we have it delivered to the shop but if I was working for someone who would let me, I'd definitely have it delivered to work, much better than to home if you're not there,

For the most part Amazon Prime is great and does save you money, but I've found some of the Prime products can be marked up to cover the free shipping. All in all Amazon makes life much easier and saves you money.

I'll check it out, thanks.

I guess I am lucky as to where I have lived, not having to worry about theft. (Yet)

I recently ordered a propane fitting. $9 and some change on Amazon. Found the same part at my local Tractor Supply for $6.15. The tax locally was a bit higher than on Amazon, but still cheaper. Usually, this is not the case; I find many things as cheaper or cheaper on Amazon. And then, there is always the outliers... That same propane fitting, if you scrolled down the page, was $54, and ONLY ONE LEFT IN STOCK. Those, I just don't get...

Yeah some are, which is why I never use one click to re-order, I'd rather go into the product and look on the right hand side where it shows you other same products for different prices, sometimes you'll find one cheaper than the one you bought last time.

I think those sellers are just hoping to sell one item a week and make the same as the cheaper guys selling 20 or 30. Find one sucker per week and they're all set.

I guess so. Or, if the timing is right, and somoene NEEDS that widget, and it's the ONLY one on Amazon at the time... Shazam!!

Now, if Amazon can get food to me fresh and at Aldi prices, I would never have to leave the house!

We don't have theft issues here either, but Milton is very rural and to get to our house you need to go down a little hill on a dirt road surrounded by trees and I don't know if it's that most of them can't find it, or are just too lazy but we've had them leave it at the post office instead too many times. Plus, we know the UPS guy delivering to us in Burlington pretty well and rather just have him do that. When we need to return things or replace or whatnot all I do is print a "drop-off" label but just give it to him the next day when I see him delivering. Saves me a trip to the ups store, or money if I wanted to actually order a pick up label. Also, we've had trucks with issues coming down our driveway in winter time - we had to wait for our bed till April even though it was ordered in January because those sissies can't do a little bit of ice I guess :)

That's an issue? Sounds like you need to MOVE! I have been using Amazon Prime for several years, in three different states, and have never had one thing stolen. Over 258 orders, delivered, (mostly) on time.

Equal to Sony? I'd say superior to Sony. Samsung has the best screens, hands down.

our lease is up in August...i can't wait

Now, if Amazon can get food to me fresh and at Aldi prices, I would never have to leave the house!

There are already similar fresh food delivery like this one:

https://www.cobornsdelivers.com

But like you mention, the price is not competitive and more expensive.

I plan my meals on what fresh produces are on sales in the local stores.

Plus I enjoy being able to scrutinize and choose the fresh produce in stores :content:

Yes, I am sure I will get over it eventually, but buying produce that I cannot see and touch just doesn't fit my current style.

A lot of people I knew in NYC had fresh produce delivered, mostly through FreshDirect. I never did it, though when I went to their apartments the produce looked just fine.

The onyl place I've ever done it is in the UK where Waitrose does deliveries. Waitrose is essentially the best grocery store in the UK so for them to deliver it's like Whole Foods deliverying to your house. I had them send a huge delivery out for our wedding (We had 60 people staying in 1 big house together for 4 days) and everything was beautiful.

Now I'm in Texas and mostly shop at HEB/Central Market. Would be nice for them to delivery, but not yet (to my knowledge).

I did FreshDirect a few times and it was great. The only drawback was the rather limited selection back when I used it. And you could only buy in bulk, like four peppers at a time. You couldn't just get one. But yeah, no complaints, it's a decent service.

If you compare it to "local stores" in Manhattan it is quite competitive....but all food in NYC is expensive. Even the bodegas can be crazy overpriced. D'Agostino and all the other chains are also very expensive and not all that nice.
